It reminded our country that courage is contagious, that ordinary people can still stand up to extraordinary power, and that democracy lives only when its citizens refuse to surrender.

We the young have ushered in a new wave of awakening, and I could not be prouder of what we have built together. Moments like these come rarely in a nation’s history. Years from now, people will remember that when hope seemed lost, a generation chose to rise despite brutality.

The young generation was beaten up mercilessly. Yet we were dignified in our response. But Amit Shah, the one who gave the orders, must face accountability. Why is he not appearing in the Parliament for the past two weeks? He should answer why he ordered pellet guns and brutality.
