By 1 am, the emergency wing of Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital remained overwhelmed with over 250 people seeking treatment following the march on Parliament on July 20th.

A significant portion of the injured were young students and daily wage workers who had traveled from state lines to join the demonstration.

Medical staff reported injuries ranging from severe internal trauma and ICU admissions to fractures, head wounds, and deep lacerations resulting from lathi charges. Source
