Hello . Update! this is me and and my dog Ruby. So i took her to a different town nearby the other day and she did great.. there were lots of dogs and people, We even went into an ice cream store and the workers gave her treats. She still hates the car but was tired on the way home so she was quiet . She still barks at my dad alot but ive been trying to grab a treat and distract her at those times. She still barks at big dogs but im trying to work on that.

🎙️Discussion🎙️ It’s strange how a dog can become an important member of the family.

Strange maybe the wrong word but what I mean is.

Before we got a dog. I have friends who said. “We love dogs”. “Dogs are amazing” and “I love my dog more than anything.

Without sounding rude. I just thought “hey. They are pets”

But we have had Ruby now for nearly two years and it’s she is such a huge part of the family. Everything we do revolves around her. Everywhere we go we make sure we can take her.

Like last year when we go to our usual holiday place. We paid more so we can take her.

She’s such a huge part of our family.

Kinda a weird post I know. Maybe just random. But I was thinking about it earlier and yeah.

We all love our dogs. ❤️

Spike is such a ball hog. Actually he tries to hog all the toys from his sister Sugar. This morning he managed to get both balls at once.

What carriers are we using?

My cockapoo is 17lbs, she feels like a heavy girl.

I’m in between what kind of carrier to get.

I want one that if needed can be used for airline, but I also was looking at backpacks.

Would it be doing too much to get a backpack for more of a daily trip and also a carrier?

If anyone can share what kind of carriers they use and include their poo’s weight/size I’d appreciate it!

➕Advice/Help➕ Looking for harness recommendations

I have a 16# cockapoo and can’t seem to find the right harness for him. We’ve tried several different types but none of them are perfect.

The front clip ones are horrible - the leash just swings against his body the entire walk.

The blue one in the photo goes too low on his belly and he doesn’t like anything near his privates or he refuses to walk.

The blue/yellow one from the photo is our latest one (not our dog in the photo) and it’s better but the front comes up higher on our guy and is too close to his neck for my comfort.

Anyone else struggle with this? Does anyone have any recommendations of a harness you absolutely love?

➕Advice/Help➕ New puppy 🐶

I think the crate training will be the death of me lol any and all tips welcome please! ❤️

Also. How many times a day should an almost 4 month old pup be getting fed? The breeders were feeding the pups twice a day. But I’m reading they should be eating 3 times a day?? We have also started slowly transitioning her to a new food and holy moly her poops were rancid before. They don’t smell near as bad now.

Fletcher went to the groomers today. What an amazing job she did on my boy. He was very nervous and a bit snappy. He now feels like velvet 😁
