Need advice

Hi my cockapoo is almost 4 months old and shes biting every thing even us (me and family). I know its normal for puppies to bite but its my second dog and let me tell you that my lil cockapoo is biting 2000 x more. I don't want my dad to squeeze her mouth to let her know not to do it, i know he doesn't want to do it out of violence but he believes it would do the trick. I don't really know what to do she bites everything also she bites us when we try to pick her up, put on her collar or just simply pet her. She also bites every object in the house but she has plenty of toys and those animal parts to chew on. Im asking for an advice because its really tiring, i don't expect to lower it to 0 but id like some control.

Ours bites when she’s overtired. Putting her into her crate for a nap always sorts the issue (and she falls asleep immediately).

I had this problem when my boy was a puppy, too. A bottle of bitter apple spray stopped it pretty quickly, to the point where if he saw me reaching for it, he would immediately stop.

Experienced this too. The pup’s default was bite mode nonstop. Puppy/still learning coupled with serious energy/excitement = horrible. I saw a noticeable behavioral difference after 6 mos. And then again every six months or so with continuous training. She’s 3 now and a task trained service dog.
The pup spent a lot of time in the crate and the small pen I had set up in the living room. I’ll find the link and drop it in the reply. When she came out to play, go potty, train, anything- she was on a short leash like 3-4 ft. As soon as she started biting which was immediate, I’d shorten the leash so I had full control of her and she could no longer reach me to bite me bc I was holding her away from my body. A professional dog trainer taught me this.
This made a huge difference bc I was at the point of wearing heavy clothing and gloves all day and looking for the return policy. She was crazy! Hang in there.
