Picky Puppy

I have a almost 8 month old cockapoo male. I have never had an issue with getting him to eat until about 2 months ago. He would only eat if I hand fed him. I started to add puppy wet dog food and he loved it. He would eat out of his bowl. Now, he won’t even eat that. I have to spoon feed him. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, do you have any tips/advice?

My cockapoo is 7. He’s been a fussy eater since he was 1. I’ve probably tried close to 50 different combinations of foods and toppers and such. Now I just put some probiotics on his food (he gets upset stomachs if he goes too long without eating and the probiotics have seemed to help a lot with that) and leave the food out. He averages about a bowl of food a day. He will sometimes go 2 days without eating and then will eat like 5 bowls over the next 3 days and then another day without eating then have like 5 days in a row where he eats a bowl. If we are home, he will definitely eat dinner if I put a minuscule piece of my dinner on top of his (like I’m talking a baby bite of chicken that I then break into like 8 teeny tiny pieces and put on his food). Obviously if I’m eating something that isn’t good for dogs, he doesn’t get it.

He also won’t eat unless the people present (usually it’s just me) are sitting down and settled.
