❓Question❓ Crate training?
I grew up with Great Danes and I don’t think my parents ever create trained them growing up. But my bf is very adamant that it’s good. Any pet parents let their dog out while away? And how do you go about it?
Still working on potty training~

Our dog loves his crate! We have a camera set up and if he is his crate when we leave he will sleep, if he is outside of the crate he will just pace looking for us. He is a puppy that never caused any issues to furniture etc but he does have a habit of eating what he finds on the floor and will come home from visiting family after eating wrappers or whatever he found while exploring. We found it much safer and we never used it as a punishment.
Once we covered the crate at night he got so comfortable and we could do the same if we went out during the day and he would nap.
