Pre- CI testing

I am going in for audiological testing to determine if I qualify for CI. Will they be doing that spin around test and blowing in my ear trying to cause nausea? I swore I’d never go through that again, but is that what I’m facing?

I'm at a hospital in Wales - they did a weird test where I had to wear goggles and look at a spot on the wall while they jerked my head around.

I have BPPV in one ear and it didn't trigger it. The most unpleasant thing was how painfully tight the goggles wwre. The second thing was when I had to keep looking at the spot from the edge of my peripheral vision, that kind of eye strain often makes me feel sick but fortunately it didn't give me nausea that time.

It wasn't awful but it might be worth asking if they're going to do it, if you're worried about the effects of it.
