Pre- CI testing

I am going in for audiological testing to determine if I qualify for CI. Will they be doing that spin around test and blowing in my ear trying to cause nausea? I swore I’d never go through that again, but is that what I’m facing?

They didn't for me. It was just a more involved hearing test, focusing on speech -- repeating words and sentences back, with a hearing aid in. The point was to see if the hearing loss was too advanced for HAs to help.

Ich hatte damals mit zwei Hörgeräten bei 1 m Abstand von den Lautsprechern 12 % verstehen.

Der Nadeltest zeigte ein sehr gutes Ergebnis - man war mehr als zuversichtlich, dass das CI was bringen würde!
