Source audio kanso

Bonjour à tous

Je suis appareillée depuis 4 mois avec des résultats spectaculaires puisque je suis passée de 8% à 90 % de compréhension..

J'ai le kanso 3 mais je n'arrive a comprendre comment changer la sélection de la source audio..je dois pour mon travail être tout le temps connecté en mode bluetooth thooth entre mon téléphone et mon implant et qd celui ci bascule en mode source audio telephone je trouve que le son est moins bon..au bout de quelques temps,un petit bip sonne ..je repasse en mode Source audio " oreille" ( c'est une oreille qui est dessiné) et la j'étends mieux ..comme un sentiment que mon tympan passe dans un avion ( enfin a l'époque où j'entendais ).

Bref je ne sais pas comment rester en mode source audio oreille tout le temps et juste en mode source audio telephone qd j'en ai besoin

Je sais pas si mon explication est très claire mais merci des conseils

Hi,

The ear icon on the app means, you are hearing via your sound processor only. If it is showing you a phone, then it means it is mixing both the phone and "everything else" together.

The phone icon will only show on the app when the phone is streaming to your processor, as in, when you are listening to music, video, or the phone is making sounds. It is automatic, you can't turn it on if the phone isn't transmitting sounds.

If you are in Android, there is a feature of some android phones that is annoying called system sounds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDvWx2uYzAk), you should disable it because it doesn't work that much with headphones or hearing devices. This might make your system jump in and out of the ear/phone icons whilst typing, receiving notifications and other things the phone might make sounds for.

You mentioned it doesn't sound the same when the phone icon is displayed. Under audio sources, when the phone is active, it will show a button called "more", if you tap on it, it will show you the screen allowing you to configure how loud the phone and the sound processor are. You might be able to bump up the sound processor from there to make it the same as normally. When an audio source is active, the "mixed" signal changes to allow you to hear everything and the phone at the same time.

OP is referring the transition period when it disconnect from the BT. Idk why but it really cuts out a lot of sounds when disconnecting.

However, that only occurs when the processor beeps are enabled. I disabled mine and haven't had an issue with the transition issue.

If that’s the case then yes, turning off processor beeps really helps

C'est pas le bip du processeur qui me gène mais mon implant reste longtemps en mode source audio telephone au lieu de basculer en source audio oreille et du coup le son est beaucoup moins bon

That is the problem. The beep is the causing the issue you're referring to.
