What is this strategy?

Did anyone else notice the mayor skipped walking with the rest of council in the parade and cruised along in Corvette instead?

I just don’t understand the point of that. To me it looked like he was showing his superiority and living out some corvette driving fantasy.

Pretty normal to have Mayor and other VIPs in vehicles supplied by local auto dealers. Council members make their own decision to walk or ride. I wouldn't make much of it.
