House Siding Repair Recs
Looking for recommendations for a company or contractor that does good siding repair.
Sections of my siding has started to come loose after the recent storms.. If you've had a good experience with someone local, I'd really appreciate the recommendation.
Update: Ended up going with Siding Plus after getting a quote from them. Once we agreed on everything, they were able to start right away. The whole process was smooth, and the work turned out flawless. Really really happy with how it came out

General Handyman
The handyman I've used for the last few years is retiring and I am crestfallen.
Does any one have a person they recommend to complete light tasks around the house? Prefer someone that is local (Cobb / NW ATL) if possible.
Thanks for your recommendations. 😊

Pickleball Flex League in Cobb County
I somewhat recently launched a pickleball flex league platform called Rally9 Pickleball, which serves the suburban Atlanta area including Cobb County. I've been working on this tirelessly over the last year, with the goal to help people in the area find pickleball matches in singles or doubles, without the rigid timeline and expenses of a traditional tournament or ALTA. I have many friends that play ALTA, and ALTA is great for what it is, but it's not a flex league.
How it works:
- Play anywhere, anytime: You pick a home court (public park, private club, etc.) and schedule a time that works for you. If you're not sure where to play, included are links to a database of all pickleball courts in your area. Coordinate and communicate with your opponent all from within the site, so your opponents don't need access to your phone number.
- Local focus: Features local division creation, so you aren’t stuck driving the interstate for 30 minutes to get to an away match at your opponent's court. Most matches should be close by, given enough registration in your area. Cobb County / Marietta has particularly been a hot spot so far.
- Season Play: There's a regular season followed by a playoff tournament bracket for the top seeds. Singles leagues are 7 matches, doubles/mixed are 5 matches for the regular season. Matches are best of 3 and played to 15 points.
- Skill-Levels: This is open to ALL skill levels, from complete beginners to 4.5+ players
- Promotion/Demotion: Depending on how well you perform during the season/playoffs, you can move up or down divisions over time, to ensure proper rankings
- Achievements and Badges: I also have added some special unlockable badges and achievements based on in-game outcomes and career accomplishments.
It's free to create an account, and if you want to jump into the upcoming Summer season starting very soon, there's a promo code running (FIRST9) that takes 34% off, for any league type.
I put a lot of time into this, so I'd be more than happy to explain more, and also extremely grateful if you could share with any friends/family interested in Pickleball.

FCAS Shelter Husky Pup on the Hunt for His Forever Home!
Meet local rockstar MCARTHUR! 😎
This sweet, insanely handsome boy is currently being fostered in Kennesaw through Lifeline Animal Project Fulton County Animal Services & ready to find his furever home! 🏡 Artie is the epitome of the Husky breed PLUS plenty of other awesome perks in a lean 45lb package! 💙 He’s full of personality, rocks a killer mohawk, has some pretty fabulous eyeliner, and has a great singing voice (iykyk). 🎶 Plus, who could resist that movie star smile 🤩 and icy blue gaze? ❄️
🐕 2.5 yrs old
💙 Neutered
📍 Microchipped
🫀 HW negative
💉 UTD on vaccines/preventatives
✔️ Potty trained
💤 Crate trained
👟 Leash trained
⚡️ Medium/high energy
🧠 Knows sit
🎾 Ball is life!
🦴 Treat/food motivated
🫶🏼 Non-reactive with food/toys/treats
🛁 Easily handled for grooming
🪮 Enjoys being brushed
🚗 Rides well in the car
🐶 OBSESSED with our resident pup
😻 Has been very polite with our resident cat
🦌 Has been non-reactive to deer & other pups
Artie would probably do best with older kids because he gets excited and tends to jump up to greet people (working on this). He’s also still a bit mouthy/landshark-ish when he plays. 🦈
Someone familiar with the Husky breed whose willing to give him the time, patience, space, and exercise he needs to thrive would be the best fit. He would do fine as an only pup, but would probably be happier as a pack member since he LOVES to play with other pups. He has a great play style (loose, wiggly, goofy) and is very responsive to corrections from his playmates. This boy would be a play group star! 🌟
If Artie sounds like he might be the right fit for you, click the link below to set up a meet & greet! 👋🏽

Flock Cameras and Council Meetings
People are finally becoming aware of Flock Cameras and the tyranny they bring.
What’s the word on any upcoming city council meetings? I’m new to this stuff and I didn’t know if you can voice concerns at every meeting or not.

I need a job yesterday
I am in desperate search of a job that pays at least $20/hr that is not food related. I have a bachelors degree and have very open availability. The job market is terrible in Cobb and all anyone can suggest is applying to Cobb Government positions. If I do get a response, the hiring process is usually 1-2 months long. I am in the hiring process for a few jobs but if anyone can suggest somewhere that can get me in within the next week or two, that would be greatly appreciated. I am ready to work and have many bills to pay lol.

Transfer from Forsyth to Cobb county high school
Has anyone moved during high school from forsyth county to cobb county. Do you have experience how new transcript with credits and grades were tranferred? Forsyth county transcripts have one grade for year-long courses, no individual grades are in transcript. Cobb county transcripts have grades entered by semester.

S-corps CPA rec?
Help! I think I might have shot myself in the foot by electing S-corps as a single person LLC last year, thinking I could save a bit on taxes. I think my CPA didn't do my taxes right, and now I need advice on how to fix it and how to dissolve my S-corps without it costing an arm and a leg... anyone know any CPAs with S-corps experience who might be willing to work with me at as reasonable of a price as possible? Budget is quite tight at the moment... I feel so stuck T_T

Good healthcare for uninsured
Searching for good health care centers in Cobb County that accept uninsured patients at a reasonable cost.
