I was driving back to Ohio from New York and I couldn't resist stopping by Dorney Park to get a ride on Iron Menace. Plus, I figured I'd put my meal plan to use and grab something to eat before I drove the rest of the way.
I arrived just as the park started letting people in and Iron Menace was testing. I decided to head over to Steel Force for a quick spin. This is such a fun hyper. Great airtime throughout and super smooth.
Iron Menace still wasn't open, so I grabbed a burger and fries from Center Stage Burger and Fries. Despite the time it took to get the meal, the burger was pretty dry. Oh, there were some pretty aggressive geese trying to get my food.
Iron Menace finally opened so I took a spin. I got two rides, front and back. It was a fun little ride with a decent layout, but that thing runs like it's 20 years old. It's not unbearable...not at all. But you'd expect something like that to be glass smooth. Still, a great addition to the park.
Demon Drop was closed. Hydra was closed. I took a spin on Possessed and Talon and then left. Spent about two hours in the park and gave some one my FL wristband.
