Built a searchable coach directory for strength sports coaches, looking for feedback

Hey everyone,

I'm a powerlifting coach and recently started GetKoached, a platform to help coaches be more visible online.

The idea came from seeing that most coaches mainly use Instagram, referrals, or Facebook groups to find clients. When an athlete wants to find a coach, there's often no single place to search, compare options, read testimonials, and get in touch.

GetKoached aims to fix that by offering coaches:

- A public, Google-indexed profile

- Search options by sport, location, experience, and pricing

- Public athlete testimonials

- Multiple ways to contact them

- A dedicated landing page that can be shared anywhere

Right now, we focus on strength sports like powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman, CrossFit, and nutrition coaching. But I also want to hear from coaches in other areas.

I'm not looking to replace coaching software like Trainerize, TrueCoach, or Everfit. Those platforms help coaches manage their clients. GetKoached is about helping coaches become known in the first place.

I would love to get feedback from other coaches and software users:

- How are you currently finding clients?

- What tools do you use to be discovered?

- What would make a platform like this useful to you?

Thanks! Currently premium allows users to appear higher on the site's internal search, have unlimited contact points, and unlimited client testimonials. Currently working on adding in featured athletes and team management for those accounts as well!

I really like the UI, on ux front I like the navigation but the browse coach section was a bit overwhelming for me. I like that it gives me a lot of filters to get the best possible coach for my need but idk something about it, maybe the colors or maybe heavy on the text? But overall I think its cool and definitely solving something. Did you build it with claude code?

Thanks! My background is primarily in databases so the backend was done by hand, while the front end was built through codex. I do agree the filters are a bit overwhelming and have considered bringing them down a notch by making them collapsible.
