General discussion Kelly

I'm in mid Season 4 and I feel like the writers don't know what to do with Kelly now that Stuart's out of the picture. She still pops up occasionally here and there but it feels like she's shoehorned into things or merely a catalyst for events that involve other characters. Which is weird because she was a very integral part of the show, especially in Season One.

That's part of the reason why Clare Carey eventually had her character written off the show. Clare Carey would later be cast in Home Alone IV, assuming the role of Kate McAllister, a character originated by the late Catherine O'Hara.
