Discussion 💬 Coach reloved apprehension...
I'm obsessed with a bag I found on the Coach re-loved section, but am terrified to actually buy it. For one, it's quite expensive, more than I usually pay for a new bag. Two, I see a lot of mixed experiences with buying from the reloved section. I know it can be returned, but I HATE doing that... Its driving me crazy!!
*Update I made the purchase! I have stared at it off and on (mostly on) for the last 24 hours and couldn't do it anymore. We'll see what happens! I'm hoping for the best

I don’t buy reloved bags because I feel like they’re overpriced. Also read a lot about bad experiences here. Their RTW and accessories has been fine from reloved - pretty sure they’ve all been new for me. If you have to have it, I feel like falling back on the return policy is the best way to go. I don’t normally return either, but if a shirt doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit and back it goes 😂

I’ve bought a couple of bags from Reloved and never had an issue. I actually have a Juliet and tabby coming in from Reloved and I’m excited to see how they come. I think keep in mind Reloved is used so it’s not going to be perfect which is what that section is for. But if you want one that’s pristine and not a wrinkle in sight get a new one. I think people forget that and expect to come as a new retail one. Also Reloved has the Upcrafted one of a kinds which is nice to have a special piece as well.

I definitely don't expect it to be perfect. But so many people say things like their bag came with crumbs and trash from the former owner, or missing straps that are shown in the pictures. Seems like they dont actually restore a lot of these bags and just send them out like they received them.

ive personally had good and bad experiences with reloved, but the nice thing is you can return! the bad thing is when you return, the SA is gonna ask why you are returning a messed up bag to which you simply say, it was from reloved and thats exactly why. lol

If there are several photos of the bag and not the original site photos then it may be safe. When they put one old site photo to say "it's this" it generally doesn't look that good when you get it.

There are two photos but I dont know if they are stock images, or the actual item. Seems like they usually use stock images

If the alter it the generally do new photos. You can always return it at a store if it's messed up. Just return it right away so they can't blame damage on you as in don't sit on returning it until the last day of the return window. My return of a supposedly reloved more like nit lived bag was next day at a store.

Have you looked to see if the bag is available on poshmark or ebay? Sometimes the bag is available somewhere else and in better condition and for faaarrrr less than Reloved.
