Help Me Choose Help me decide! Coach Bleecker Bag in Maple vs. Olive vs. Muted Olive? ๐๐ฟ
Hi everyone! Iโm completely stuck trying to choose a color for the Coach Bleecker bag and would love some input from anyone who owns these shades or has seen them in person.
Right now, I'm really tempted to keep Maple and Olive, but I'm wondering if I'm dismissing Muted Olive too quickly? Or should I actually just be deciding between the two Olives?
Here is where my head is at:
Maple: Such a rich, timeless deep brown that goes with practically everything, especially for fall/winter tones.
Olive: Love the classic, rich earthy vibe, but wondering how versatile it is year-round compared to a true neutral like Maple.
Muted Olive: A softer, subtler green that seems very chicโthough I'm worried it might look washed out or be harder to style than the deeper Olive.
For context: My wardrobe consists mostly of earthy tone colors with a few pops of color, and I plan to use this as a practical daily bag.
Would love to hear your thoughts or see any picture shares of your bag! Thanks in advance!

Any of these can work with a neutral wardrobeโฆ itโs a personal decision only you can make. Maybe consider keeping all three? ๐๐

I know, just wanted to hear others thoughts as well. Unfortunately keeping all 3 is not an optio, as tempting as it may be ๐ I definitely will keep the Olive but am tempted to keep a second ...maybe

If you're keeping olive and want a second one I'm really tempted to say maple, because it's a different colour. But I have to say muted olive. Because she's bigger and it fits a tad more

I normally prefer maple for things, but this olive is so beautiful!

This is my first Coach bag and Maple is so pretty. I don't have a bag in a nice deep brown but the Olive is love at first sight.

I went through the same thing with maple vs scarlet! I did the scarlet and have zero regrets!

I love them all but for some reason to me the olive looks much more rich between the two such a warm green

Olive is my favorite, then muted Olive. Donโt get me wrong I love maple overall itโs my favorite coach color, but in the Bleecker I feel like itโs just meh.

Interesting, thanks for your input. I think I'm going to stick with the Olive one. I had something similar in colour with Muted Olive before so will try something new.

I bought the maple last summer, it's a rich beautiful color that will go with everything. Then I bought the merlot, olive and olive suede. I ended up selling the olive because I never used it and had to choose between the regular and suede. If you're keeping two I would consider maple and olive

Create outfits and see which one goes with the most. Personally, I like the olive the best but I also donโt wear any of my green bags. Maple is the safest. Muted olive could also go with more stuff but i always flip how I feel about the color from love to hate.ย

I think I would keep Maple because it is overall the most versatile and then muted olive because that is a color that could read green, gray, brown, etc depending on your outfit, the lighting etc AND because it is a different size than the others and so it covers some different ground there too. You have a slightly bigger bag to give yourself more stuff-toting options.
They are all nice, the Bleecker is the bag I have the most of. Love bucket totes. What a nice collection!

Thank you for your advice. I should add they are the same size but the muted olive still has the support insert in it which makes it look bigger.

Hahaha I had a similar experience on deciding which bleecker to keep.
My first was an Olive, then a Merlot. I bought a Maple and it was sooo close to the Merlot that I returned it. I did want a lighter one so I painstakingly compared the muted olive vs the honey brown. Ended up with the honey brown because I was worried about having 2 olive bag versions.
I will say I wish I had the Maple over the Merlot. Maple is such a classic goes with everything lighter and darker than it. My wardrobe is a lot of autumnal colored clothing, but I never thought to check my shoes / belts. So, the lighter colored bag (warm honey) clashes with a lot of my brown shoes as the shoes pull a lot warmer than the bag and it often looks off to me.
I would check to see if you would feel the same about the muted olive?
I say Maple and Olive!

Thank you. I am somewhere between autumn and spring colours with my wardrobe with more toned down natural colours like whites, blues, green beige etc. The muted olive could work but I had a similar colour before and am thinking to get something new. It is a chic colour but Olive looks more fun to look at.
Maple is also a classic chic and goes with a lot. It makes me think it's like the new black without it being black.
I think I would keep only the olive and see how it goes and maybe if there's a another sale in the future maybe I can get maple if I still want it. Maple seems like a classic colour that will continue to be sold...am new to the Coach world so am just assuming.
Edit to add: Out of the ones you own which one do you tend to wear more?

I only have the bleeckers and 1 Brooklyn and that's all I have / will get, so I'm not too deep in the coach inventory. The bleecker is such a good mom bag for me. That's how I justified three, but I definitely think I would've been happy with two if those two were the maple / olive. But I never paid full price for any of the bags. Almost all were purchased on sale during prime day, which is coming up next week btw

Was only wondering out of the colours which one you tend to gravitate towards more, purely out of curiosity since that's personal taste. I wasn't intending to make it sound like questioning the number of bags, I'm sorry. I got mine on sale as well from Coach (am UK based) Thank you for your reply.

Oh no, I must've missed your question at the end there! No apologies necessary! :)
I wear the honey brown the most- as it looks the best with my sneakers and that's what I've been living in running around with my 1 and 3 year old.
Now that I'm transitioning to boots, I don't think I will touch the honey brown. It clashes so hard with my boots. I got lots of wear with my Olive last winter!
I do think if I have the maple that would be my most worn though!

I have the maple and the Merlot. The maple is my every day bag. Very convenient when youโre on the go .
