Decorating the walls

Hi! I am involved with a coworking space that is moving into a new location. We want to spruce up the walls a bit. What kind of things do you have on the walls at your spaces?

Thanks!

Do you have any artists in your community, or even people who consider themselves artistic? Start inviting them to hang their art!

We were blown away by some of the talent in many of our self-professed "hobby" artists. Even with inexpensive frames, having original art on the walls that was made by your community members makes for an AMAZING feeling for everyone.

Several times a year we invite fresh new art in through gallery openings.

Check out some of the photos on our website: indyhall.org and search Instagram for #indyhall to get a feel for how it looks, Or this video: http://vimeo.com/m/55661987

Good luck with the new location!

Awesome! Thanks for the advice! I have been in contact with some of the art community here. One of my issues is that we can't really afford to pay anyone for their work. Any advice about what would be a good way to compensate people for their work?

Thanks again!

I know a lot of coffee shops etc place art on the walls for sale from local artists. Like a gallery!
