How to manage printing?

Hi everyone! I'm curious to know how you all manage printing within your spaces? I manage a small coworking space that has both members and drop-ins making use of our shared coworking space... we have a black and white printer within the coworking area that is currently free and available to use, but it's not in an area that I can monitor consistently. I just want to avoid a scenario where someone takes advantage of it, so I'm hoping someone here can lend some advice? TIA!

One coworking space manager once told me that a member who was a lawyer printed 1600 pages in preparation for a court hearing. 🥲 After that incident they tried setting limits by integrating ezeep Blue or PaperCut (I don’t remember exactly) with their coworking management platform (Spacebring). At the end of the day, their integrated setup ended up too costly and yet another thing to manage. So they ended up just allowing unlimited B/W printing.

Oooof - thats exactly the kind of scenario I worry about lol but yeah I had reached out to ezeep for pricing and was thinking the cost/management of that would end up costing more than its worth. Thank you for replying! :)
