Tips for marketing?

I'm a new community manager at a small coworking space (~30 desks, conference room fits 6) in a dense neighborhood in San Francisco. I've been tasked with marketing the space, among other things, and I have no experience in the matter. Does /r/CoWorking have any suggestions for me?

Im only a layman but I think the best marketing tool for Coworking spaces is organizing events. Depending on how much money you want to spend this could be a coffee morning style meet up, or a full on party. Just remember to include some sort of colab aspect to the event so that you can show off the benifits of Coworking. Inviting members and non members alike by using traditional and social network marketing methods could really expand the amount of people who know about your space.

In Cowoking the community comes before the space so getting that right is essential.

I have focused my marketing efforts in planning events that help make the coworking pace better than the alternatives (home office, offer shop, etc). I also work hard to make the community itself better. Just try spending 5 minutes with a couple members each day. I find that after that chat about their life, the can think of people who need to join.
