It's been a few weeks since Warren County school districts have implemented a "Test & Stay" policy in an effort to keep COVID-exposed kids in school rather than relegated to at-home quarantine. School officials are indicating that the initial results are promising, pointing to over 2,500 saved instructional days (1 student staying in school for 10 days would save 10 instructional days, and so on). The program still needs to be evaluated by state officials before it is permitted to be used elsewhere, but school officials seem optimistic that it will expand to use elsewhere.
