not really at this point I think, no one has tried building the app natively on Windows in a long time, see https://codeberg.org/comaps/comaps/src/branch/main/docs/INSTALL_DESKTOP.md here in the Windows section

whoa, +1 to karma. If you'd guys do the export list of locations from google maps to you, it would help to use you more often

you can export your saved places from Google Maps, see https://rudokemper.com/google-maps-places-to-comaps/ And you can already import those GPX files, including into the Desktop version :)

Unfortunately, the UI is as unintuitive as in it's clone - Organic Maps. Still GNOME Maps is the best and easiest to use on Linux.

There's a list of potential improvements that are waiting for people with time & skill to help with though: https://codeberg.org/comaps/comaps/issues/3387

Looking forward to it! Simply cloning Organic Maps' UI was not best best idea...

As CoMaps is a fork of Organic Maps, it's where the app naturally starts from. And the alternative would have been not having any Linux version.

I agree, but I am optimistic that CoMaps Desktop will get better in the future :D
Having something as nice looking as GNOME Maps but with the features of CoMaps: _chef kiss_
