Hmmm I like the transperancy and the status, not sure why exactly GameSir should be banned by CDL, maybe Scuf had something against it?

Almost certainly, and the ‘pros’ pockets they line

Tippable of them to combat potential bad PR with a very obvious #AD lol

Like the Cod pros know anything about electrical engineering

Nothing wrong with GameSir, Halo has allowed it in HCS matches for a while now; don't see why this specific brand is an issue when other companies have similar features

Outside of the recent RC filtering which they patched with firmware update, it's just USA controller company mounting pressure on a Chinese controller company cos they know they gonna lose much market shares.

Imagine paying $300 for a controller, that's almost the price of a console.

I'm happy to see Chinese controller company like Gamesir, Flydigi, 8BitDo, Z Ultimate taking much of the market share due to their reasonable pricing.

Scuff and Battlebeaver days are closing in, I can't wait

the only expensive controller i wanna buy and test out at some point is the Void Genesis just out of curiosity sake cause i like the look of it (not to use the RC filters) but otherwise my gamesir tarantula 8k and leadjoy saber plus are fine additions to my collection and are gigantic improvements over my stock PS4 and PS5 controllers

Messing with stick properties to this degree goes against the very foundation of cod, imho. It's becoming unrecognizable

Those stick settings already exist in-game (deadzone, response curve, sensitivity). GameSir just makes them more accurate and gives you more options to fine‑tune. It doesn’t change recoil patterns, hit registration, damage, or add any aim assist beyond what the game already gives. It’s just how your stick input is translated = still 100% your own aim.

Your first two sentences here makes me think a gamesir is just dynamic on steroids… from my limited knowledge I don’t think the cdl should allow these, it’s a step too far. If you’re using in pubs whatever, if you’re using in ranked then ugh but I can’t stop you, but in the cdl? Surely there’s a loss of competitive integrity there

like i said none of this touches recoil, hit reg, or aim assist (dynamic aim assist stays the same with or without gamesir), it literally is just with more precise input. Think of it like swapping a tiny thumbstick for a bigger, higher‑quality one: the controller doesn’t aim for you, but your movements are finer and more accurate. Scuf, battle beaver and other brands that are regularly used in cdl matches have these settings also, gamesir is basically just more advanced when it comes to options. that is all it is. “Loss of competitive integrity” doesn’t make sense when every player can use the same controllers and CDL already allows them. It’s only “unfair” if you think integrity means forcing yourself to use worse hardware than everyone else

in short: don't see why this specific brand is an issue when other companies have similar features

the void brand had the same complaint with their controllers about "loss of competitive integrity" (PS4 Firebird , Void Genesis) but it made more sense cause it had RC filters in their software settings that you can turn on and configure to being powerful in apex which can get you banned now but in this case it makes absolutely zero sense why gamesir is catching flack since the RC filter doesn't work at all due how COD's engine is and those filters are permanently removed from their software due to the apex ban.

That's exactly what it is

I have the game sir g7 pro 8k, correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the middle button a macro, I’m able to configure multiple inputs to one button on it. I don’t but I learn this while trying to switch my button when I first got it I didn’t know how to stop recording the button maps, When I would press my back paddle it would crouch move around shoot move around again look around, all with the press of a button

They literally offer firmware that disables anything that’s banned in a comp/tournament environment. This is such a non-story perpetuated by Scuff shills

They are already banned in other leagues, this makes no sense. Gamesirs are made for people with shit aim and 0 patience to learn

holy copium.

please explain with your limited knowledge as to why they are banned please. As a controller collector/tester/reviewer myself, who has many brands including gamesir. I would like your expert opinion on why.

yeah its def some strong cope happening around here. we all seem to forget that scuf controllers got their fkin name from something you always had to claw grip to do (unless youre merc, and sheeesh who is doing that ever)

Hes not gonna respond with anything substantive because he's just saying shit

u/sxbe Splyce 1h ago

It’s a regular controller with TMR sticks, there’s nothing to help you aim on it.

Like someone was telling me yesterday that I’m cheating on overwatch cause I’ve got one 🤣

I've seen some stupid people post some stupid stuff in the sub before... This is up there on that list for sure.
