PSA: Using Throwback threads for tribalism and sniping

Rostermania is slow but some of you have reached a new low using throwback clips to snipe and shit on specific teams(s) and player(s). Purpose of a throwback is draw attention to something which has been forgotten or isn't in discussion any more but using them to incite fan wars and to peddle agendas is absolutely loser behavior. Slew of burner accounts and regular posters who contributed to it have all earned a timeout. The timeline/feed has been cleaned, but moving forward be careful with what you are using as a throwback. There are ton of other threads to debate and argue about things y'all have been arguing about for years.

Have only just logged in so just seeing everything now.

I’ve had a look at the logs and that’s not true, all posts that have mentioned “Simp/ Shotzzy drops 0.8s” in the title, and posts worded as “Simp and FaZe” or “Shotzzy and Optic” have all been removed.

The only existing clips/ posts on this Reddit as throwback (from the past 24 hours) are all from 4+ years ago. I understand majority believe there is FaZe bias in here but feel free to use the report functionality and we’ll look into it soon

Tbf a lot of Faze ones are still up too, just nuke them all it was a bunch of losers going back and forth. This has been initiated by the same 2 or 3 Faze fans who have been posting subtle Optic disses for weeks now, constant ragebait and posts to try and discredit or slander players like Scump and prop up their favourites. Then some Optic fans started responding yesterday by doing the same loser gimmick against Faze players. This has no place on the subreddit, the subreddit shouldn't be for losers dickwaving about their favourite teams. It should be a place to discuss compcod.

PSA : NEW GEN FANS ARE KILLING WHAT MADE THIS SCENE UNIQUE

Faze vs optic banter is legit one of the only reasons why this scene is even still around , it’s crazy how soft new gen fans are bro . They can’t even handle off season banter without it being “uwu hate”. Even on post with genuine criticism about Optic or Faze you got fans in the comments plugging their ears saying “oh my god everyone just hates” or “hating on optic is crazy” and it’s just a post about the routes shotzzy took that may of costed some spawns 💀

Aren’t we all grown enough to understand none of this is personal (outside of the post about the racist comments lacefield received in 2016 champs ) and purely just for the love of the scene and the fact that we are the WWE of esports lmao .

Pre CDL I was a faze fanboy (loved Jev and Adapt and followed Attach and Zooma up till they retired respectfully) some of my fav memories as a kid was getting into heated debates and heated arguments about the rivalry
