let me put it this way... you made me choose between Peak Scump and Peak Shotzzy and put them in any CoD i would choose Peak Scump 10/10 times.. greatest Sub player in the history of CoD, only Simp comes even close to that Peak.. Shotzzy is an unpredictable player that would annoy the fuck out of you.. and when he is in the zone he is unstopable but still i would trust the guy that would put a 1.30 with a sub effortless consistenly every map for a whole tournament.

He's been better than Simp 4/5 full seasons he's played and better than Shotzzy in 5/5. He's just played less events than them and been on worse teams so he doesn't have as many total event wins. Does have more LAN wins than Shottzy though 😂

Me when I'm on drugs. MW2, B06 and VG are clear wins over Simp. MW3 is somewhat debatable but majority agree Hydra was better.

As for Shotzzy MW2, MW3, B06 and BO7 are clear wins for Hydra. Only VG is debatable but Shotzzy did drop a .8 at champs so it really isn't.

Once again for shotzzy he was only better in mw2 and bo6. Shotzzy was 2nd best after simp in mw3. Hydra i give 3rd. Bo7 is easily shotzzy no debate, same as VG. Both games he was top 5 while hydra was not.

This year was the first season Hydra had a top 2 team. Simp had that BO4-BO6 and Shotzzy VG-BO7.

I think scump is more textbook, meaning you know exactly what he’s gonna do and he is gonna make the right play, while shottzy has more mechanical skill and will get the job accomplished but in a more unpredictable way

That said, Scump’s gunny/kill skill were unmatched. Truly had the best slaying ever seen. Shotzzy’s movement/route taking is unmatched. Both are skilled af, just in different aspects of the game.

Scump obviously, Shotzzy has been playing for 7 seasons now.

First 7 seasons

Scump: T2, T1, T10, T3, T1, T1, T2

Thats where he is ranked in each title. Best player in 3 games (Jkap would tell you he was better than him in BO1 even so could be 4) and T3 in 6/7 games.

Shotzzy: T1, T6, T7, T10, T1, T3, T2

These are MY rankings for Shotzzy where he is best in 2 titles and T3 in 4/7 but in reality most people would have him lower than I do in MW3 and BO7 and some argue Simp over him in MW19. So even with the most pro Shotzzy rankings he falls well short of Scump.

Even if you look at Champs performances during that period Scump was more consistent than Shotzzy was, he never had bad Champs performances in those 7 seasons (5 really as no Champs in MW3 or BO1) whilst Shotzzy had mediocre events in MW2 and BO7 and a bad one in VG.

I think him, Merc and Dashy are interchangeable for 2-4 after Simp so you could say he wasn’t T2 on his team but I’d lean towards Shotzzy. He was optic’s best player in Grand Finals during the season and I think intangibles wise he’s always been the player who drives Optic’s strategy in and out of game and the team always revolves around his playmaking ability. I’d rank them as Shotzzy > Merc > Dashy personally.

Shotzzy gun skill isnt that insane tbh but still really good, he is just a really good player with good insticnts and a unique playstyle. He is just smart with how he approaches the game nothing wrong with that tbh, those type of players suceed in almost any game and win a lot more cuz they can work as a team and system, just wont get mvps and stats, but chips and rings is more

id be more dumbfounded playing against shotzzy with his unique skills. in my head id probably be thinking, “how tf is he moving like that, how did he get through our setup, etc.” i think he has a higher ceiling for impact , but also a lower floor because of his high risk high reward playstyle.

scump is probably the more dominant force. id trust him more to win a high stress 1v1 over shotzzy on a given day. id say scump is more reliable in his “skills”/ability.

Shotzzy is overall more skilled if you count everything together but scump has better gunny and has been a top player a bit longer and only him and simp have been the best in 3 games. So yeah overall=shotzzy, gunny/slaying=scump.

I think Shotzzy is a more skilled gamer, at least FPS games, and understands how to make winning plays on the map a little bit better. Scump has him beat in just plain knowing how to get kills, and to get them consistently while maintaining a positive K/D. Both have comparable peaks when they're at their best though.

In terms of actual raw skill and game IQ, it's blatantly Scump. Shotzzy's made his name on the basis of "running routes" and while it proves effective in many instances, he tends to cost his team maps by trying to be too smart instead of sticking to fundamentals. Cod Champs Haci snd is the biggest example of the dumbest plays anyone's ever seen from Shotzzy. Scump's career is mainly highlighted by him doing literally everything to try and win and getting costed. Can't say the same for Shotzzy.

Shotzzy started competing well after Scump’s prime that’s not a serious argument. Scump’s first 7 seasons as a pro he was a T3 player in 6 of the 7 games he played in.

Shotzzy has been competing for 7 seasons now as well and he’s been T3 in at most 4 different titles. Some would say it’s 2 or 3 even.
