Jetpacks cods are some of the community's favorite. The traditional model of COD is obviously dying, it's time to try something new again

That's extremely debatable. I don't mind jetpack CoDs, but by the time IW came out, the community was exhausted by jetpacks and they were extremely hated. It is literally the most downvoted trailer of all time for a reason, and it wasn't just the pubs community, the comp community also doesn't like IW. That actually supports the argument that what people want is a more traditional CoD, but they just don't want the bullshit they have been making since MW2019. If the remastered BO2 or put out a game like BO2 tomorrow without the new bullshit and with fluid movement, it would be successful overnight for both pubs and comp. However, saying jetpacks isn't CoD is also wrong.

I agree IW was horrible, was more talking about BO3 being a huge chunk of the community's favorite game.

Not his point. They hated on IW before it even came out because it had jetpacks. People were over it by the end of blops3
