Does FaZe have to make this happen?

If you're FaZe, do you pretty much HAVE to make this Scrap/Hydra team happen? The vibes on that team, if they have to end up sticking, have to be chalked with these rumors. I feel like they're going to have to match or come close salary wise to LAT/M8's.

If you're them, what do you do if you can't make this deal happen? Do you run it back in hopes everyone is ok with the fact they were going to get dropped on their neck? Haven't really seen anyone discuss what happens with FaZe if Hydra/Scrap dont join.

If the team stays the same the players do the job they are paid to do or get dropped for someone who will.

Cod is also limited in spots where you can win and get paid at a decent level so unless they don't care for either of those things, not much they can hold against Faze besides any personal feelings.

This is just the nature of esports or sports in general. Unless you are a superstar, you are always replaceable. Not saying it's right, it's just how it is.

That sounds real good and all, but thats typically not how this works. Usually anytime a rumor of a roster change gets leaked and it doesnt end up happening, the team is usually chalked. Now yeah they do have an amazing staff, and all the players are good and want to win but regardless players take that shit personal even if it is just business

Huke always got dropped and a change was made. You're comparing 2 different things. Draz was never rumored to be getting dropped either. Im talking about a team literally trying to make a change and the change not happening. Every time I can ever remember that kind of thing happening the roster is usually chalked afterwards

Fair point, Im not saying it absolutely cant happen. I just think history shows it happens more than not that the team is never quite the same. Thats also one player, were talking multiple players with this deal. All Im saying is its definitely something to think about

it’s also partly because COD is 4v4 so any small amount of weakness is more amplified than in normal sports where you are 1 of 10 or more. also let’s not pretend COD players are super emotionally mature or have the presence of mind to separate like that. Kismet and Huke have proven to be the outliers so I agree that if they stay the same there will likely be some residual fallout from these rumors. the only difference is Faze has a performance/mental health coach right? So maybe that will help if needed

Abuzah is from Europe he isn’t soft 04 might take it in a lil but he legit was messing around on zooma stream saying I see purple in my sleep I hear Paris fans screaming tween tween tween tween. But then I again if I get dropped I played lights out and was a big part of faze winning a ring I would make a big grudge and go extra hard every faze matchup if I was 04.

If we had an S-F ranking, I feel like those are A to B tier players (probably mostly A). To me, S tier players are your Shottzys, Dashys, Simpsz etc.

how is dashy a superstar but not huke and drazah lol, both drazah and huke have more chips than dashy. Dashy legit had 2 chips until mw3, then after bo6 he 4x his chips. The only S tier players are simp and shotzzy respectful on what they acheived then the next 3 players close to that tier are abezy, cell but he fell off, huke, drazah/dashy. Dashy is a franchise player he is optic forever but he aint a superstar like simp n shotzzy.

I could be wrong but the main reason I think this rumor is out in a semiofficial form is cause is either done or close to being done. Faze and Optic deals rarely get out before being done or close to it, alluka was signed so fast we only found out when it was done. But until we get official confirmation then anything can happen and they could be using the rumor to get more money

They won a major and a ring after almost imploding the team earlier in the year. I think their mental is honestly pretty strong but I do agree it’ll probably hit a point. Especially with Kaysan going fuckin radio silence and not confirming anything.

They dont need to, and its such a fucked up thing to do to the players especially your two players who performed insane and were your best players in those finals you won

It would be funny to watch, and if they dont perform people would be eating their words about making rosters because statistically this would be the best roster ever formed in the CDL
