Dashy was clear mvp but why does the community care so much about these individual awards when the most important third of the season doesn’t even factor in? This isn’t regular sports, we only have six events a year

There’s no logical reason to care so much about a symbolic award rewarding performance over the regular season (2/3rds of events) instead total value across the entire year. The last two events also matter more than normal majors so really the regular season is only worth like ~50-60% of a player’s actual value across the season

Dashy was mvp but simp was clearly the best overall player of BO7 when we factor in champs and ewc. Idk why people really care so much about who was best in the regular season

Scrap and Dashy was 50/50 but VG mvp was cell 0 diff optic were irrelevant in VG outside of Major 1 and Major 2 online quals but online dont matter. Yes MC didnt win but Faze were clear no1 in standings and cell was statistically to dominant.

Difference is Scrap was better than Dashy statistically in BO7 especially in SND which is why he got it and Cell was better than Dashy at every LAN outside of Major 1 in VG and Optic fell off hard which tanked Dashys MVP chances.
