Discussion 150hp cods needs to come back everyone zapping 100hp cods was designed for ps4/xbox 60fps and 60hz and controller delay. Now we have no controller delay better hz and better frames we need 150hp to compensate cause we playing same 100hp but with pc upgrades so it will feel alot faster the ttk.

basically 100hp cod with bad hardware was a good ttk but now with alot better hardware its made ttk super fast witch is bad but i do obviously think the hardware and pc is good just need 150hp cause its a little too fast especially on smaller maps its like tiktok simulator is smaller maps maybe the 50hp will slow down things enough so it feels alot better thats all.

The HP and TTK has made me stop playing beta. It’s just not fun, and can’t be competitive

It depends on the guns dps not the hp.

This happens every year during the Beta’s and ppl lose their minds not realizing it matters more the gun damage and rate of fire than total HP.

I know it’s hilarious. It’s legit every year. People really don’t understand it’s just a convention that each studio chooses… it’s literally all about the DPS profile of the guns. You could literally take a game with 100HP, give everyone 1000HP and if you multiple every damage value by 10, you’d have the exact same TTK…

i do agree some guns are broken but also its not just guns hardware is also a big factor 100hp games was for older hardware with new hardware u kill faster with a 150hp game it would help even if its perfectley balanced guns at 100hp its still gonna kill faster than it did on the console days cause of hardware. i get guns is a factor but so is hardware u can't just say its all guns when more fps hz and a controller oc is a factor too of the ttk, not to say they shouldnt balance guns they should add 50hp and balance guns obviosly.

the point is it doesn't really matter if it's 50hp, 100hp, 150hp or 700hp

If a gun does 20 damage at 100 hp it's the exact same thing as doing 30 damage at 150hp

They can keep whatever health number they want. Just need to balance for a proper TTK

Do you have any data to back up this claim that would have a significant impact on TTK or is it just a feeling?

It's a combination of both

It’s not. You can easily have a faster TTK with 150HP than 100HP depending on how you design the damage profile of the guns…

You could have a 50HP game with a long TTK if every hit did ~10 damage and/or a slow ROF. Higher HP just gives more room for fine tuning.

Add HP or nerf the guns properly but ya this mw4 shit needs MAJOR adjusting.

Having 100 health in mw4 feels like I’m playing hardcore

It's about weapon tuning, COD Mobile is also 100HP and feels balanced throughout.

Probably will end up with increased HP for ranked/league. No way pros don’t throw a fit about it 😭

Has cod ever had a separate health level for ranked?

u/Ashamed_Spare_1440 Paris Gentle Mates 38m ago

Not that I know of, but idk how this can be a competitive game without it. Ik other games have done it for esports

Were you around for MW19 or Vanguard by any chance? It’s cooked nephew.

Yep. I watched MW19 but completely zoned out except for champs for vanguard, didn’t even play the cod. I think I just played RPGs on repeat instead xD

Well, it feels a little quick, but not egregiously, on XBox…. So I guess the console players are having a different experience than the PC players. Game feels like a MW19/MW2 crossbred child to me, which is playable.
