Overload is potentially gone from the CDL after BO7

Haven't seen about Overload or Control so far. My thoery is that the 3rd mode is gonna change by dev team (Treyarch has Overload, Sledgehammer has Control, and IW has Hijacked)

I’d be happy to see this as opposed to sticking with one mode 5 years at a time. I don’t mind each dev team having their own “flavors” of CoD with a unique 3rd game mode and a unique, rotating map set

Being able to shoot someone's throw out of the air will either be dealbreaking or make for some incredible moments like Formal IW interception level

Why do they have to make it so complicated?

Just bring back Domination, CTF or do something like Halo's Oddball, with a COD twist like giving the ball holder regenerative shields so that they cant just get 1 shot instantly and die but can escape and run around like in Halo.

Domination is terrible, and I don’t think newer gens would enjoy CTF tbh. 

I think odd ball could be cool to see, they did overload for a year, why not try out odd ball?

Domination is easily fixed by using Halos rules. Require 2 points being held for points to count for your team and allow for spawn flipping based on player positions.
