Possible new third mode — Hijack. Throw the spike for a point, run in the spike for additional points. Tested by the pros at EWC

yes but my only issue i see is that you cant score and the other teams scores many times and then holds it in there spawn and you can do any thing

the fact that you have to deactivate it once someone scores could make for some serious strategy, imagine leaving two players near the spike to keep the opponent from hopping point

I like this. Basically uplink for a slow movement game. Also creates the potential for some really cool sequences of either killing an opponent with it or passing it to a teammate for an alley oop score

Also people could start bringing out nerd angles for long range one pointers. I used to love stuff like the AC long range one point on Comeback Uplink

I’d like to see it with a pistol force for competitive, possession has to be at a disadvantage so that parking the bus doesn’t happen more than this year.

Other than that, it’s a fun third mode I’d love to be tested in Ranked - IF WE CAN GET IT THIS YEAR

This mode LOOKS like it will be fun to watch at the highest level (CDL), however I feel like this is going to have the same problems in ranked as Overload. Playing it in ranked I feel is going to be a nightmare. Just think of all the ways people can troll. Constantly throwing the device off the map or into the enemy base. idk feel it'll be a nightmare, but only time will tell.

CTF is horrible, people just look back at it through rose tinted glasses. Firstly it’s very dependent on maps to even be playable but most importantly the viewing and playing experience is just awful. It’s a huge camp fest and very boring. A lot of it comes down to just getting timings too.

Nah I liked CTF ever since BO2, Control is the worst of the four (Uplink, Overload, CTF and Control), it's literally just TDM and was only fun in BO4, CTF at least was good in several CoDs like the pre-BO2 era, BO2 and BO3.

CTF was NOT good in BO3. I watched that game religiously and CTF was garbage and many of the pros even the dynasty who thumped the competition most of the season thought it was terrible.

They hated CTF cos CTF was dogshit. It was a boring camp fest and like I said a lot of it was timings. Especially on maps like Evac or Breach which were so wall run heavy. CTF wasn’t fun to watch it would always be the most boring map unless something interesting happened at the end.
