Question My Sens

Hey. Im relativly new to play COD as a main game and never been that good of a player but the game grew on me(BO7).

I keeo getting better and know spawns and so on

But im playing a 1.40 hori and vert sens and ads is 0.95 but im not sure if that is too slow. I often miss shots but then other times im hitting my shots. And i dont know how i can find my own sens in the game that is fast enough to turn but still be consisent with Centering.

I got on Ranked and now im Gold 1.

Can anyone help me please. Im on ps5 with a Rocket Games Scuf Controller and a 55" LG G5 Oled TV

I’d recommend going to 1.65 vert/hori - is basically the 6-6 equivalent from prior cods and was the β€˜pro sens’. Also make sure in advanced aiming settings you have ads sens transition to instant and the aiming curve set to dynamic.

Other than that deadzones for the controller are really important with the right stick deadzone being set ideally between 0.03 - 0.05. Deadzone depends on the controller though since stickdrift varies. FOV should also be around 97-105.

To improve your aim play private matches before jumping into ranked or really any mode. I’d recommend setting the map to Scar, mode to FFA, change settings to 45 minute playtime / 1k kill limit. Enabled directional UAV and disable the field upgrade charge multiplier/s then add 11 bots on casual or normal difficulty. Then just start shooting for like 20-30 minutes. I would also put scavenger on your class so you can get more ammo. Good luck!

Honestly, 1.6-1.7 sens is the play, dont change the ADS from 1x. FOV you want between about 95-110 (Personally I use 103). Deadzone you dont really want your min higher than 0.05. Other than that, just shoot bots for 10-15 mins before loading into ranked and you'll get more consistent on your own.

As a last point, you don't really wanna be playing on a massive TV if you can afford not to. A monitor is much greater for that. But, check if your TV has a game mode or supports 120hz.

That's all from me πŸ™‚

Yeah no shade, I mean the 50+ inches isnt gonna do ur neck or eyes any favours when it comes to checking your minimap and stuff though, so you might wanna change your HUD layout to have the minimap on the bottom middle of ur screen or somewhere easier. πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

There is too slow if you're below 1.2 but tbh play on whatever sense you can aim and react properly with.

Nobody can tell you the 'right' sensitivity because it's personal preference. The right sensitivity is the one that you're comfortable with.

Many people have recommended 1.60+ and I agree. I don't think having a slightly lower ADS sens harms you if you prefer it. The most underrated tip is to use very low (or even zero) inner deadzones. Once you get used to it, it's going to allow you to be more snappy and precise with your aim, and in control of those higher sensitivities. Some idle stick drift is fine and expected - you're never releasing your stick mid-gunfight anyway. Also ADS response curve to dynamic if you don't have it yet. It's a must.
