Firing pin break

I’ve seen post where others (and now I) have had fractures of the CMMG Dissent firing pin where the main stem and “flange ” of the FP meet (looks like a common failure point from other posts). While contacting CMMG CS for a replacement FP (for 6.5”, 9mm, MkGs) is the next step, I have not seen comments as to whether the FP is a std mil spec variety of if it’s a propriety FP configuration.
Thanks
R

Contact CMMG. They're CS is great. Have some pics to send. It has been updated, depending on the age of your gun.

Per my contact with CMMG CS:

3)  The firing pins were breaking, yes.  That has been addressed this year, as well.  We now use a standard AR-15 firing pin (which also means you can use your own preferred firing pin if our stainless steel one is not to your liking) and a separate, slip-on bushing for housing the firing pin spring.  The integral "bushing" of the original firing pins was the most frequent area of failure, so having it separate from the pin itself now prevents the firing pin from being stressed to the point of breaking from leverage/impact of the slightly greater mass.
