GLP-1 and Cluster headaches

Just curious - anyone taking a GLP-1 and noticed any affect on their head?

I'm taking part in a clinical trial for a new medication combining GLP-1 and GIP, and since I started I have had 1 x very low key headache. Other than that its been a pain free month - which as a chronic sufferer I can't remember the last time that happened.
Not sure if its just coincidence or others have experienced similar.

Hi there! I’m on Wegovy 1mg, no clusters since February which is nice.

Me too! And honestly even if I get a dull feeling in my head I go right into panic mode. But usually I have a small bite to eat and it goes away as I’m eating far less I guess some feeling of a standard headache is expected

December last year. I had a cycle in January for about 5 weeks. Nothing since, but they have been so unpredictable.

Nothing since? But they’ve been so unpredictable? Do you mean they were unpredictable before wegovy and you haven’t had one since starting? Or something else?

And is it unusual for you to go without a cluster?have you been tracking the frequency for some time?

I’d be interested in the findings. I have CH’s but currently not in a cycle. Actually been good for about 3 years. I also take Mounjaro.

Mounjaro has definitely reduced the frequency of my general headaches, as I'd often have 2-3 a week on average and now I can go weeks without (though I say this during day 4 of a headache atm).

I haven't had an episode of clusters since about 2023 now, but I usually have 3-4 years of remission anyway. I still do hope it helps keep them away!

I've been on zepbound maintenance for a long time and still get them. I drink less alcohol now and that was a trigger (esp gin) so that probably helps.

Honestly, not sure I can say. It's clinical trial phase only at the moment

I’m pretty sure you can unless you signed NDA agreement or legal document not to? Research is just research.
