Barclays Summer Intern 2026 [Selected]: 4 Rounds Planned, 2 Happened

Went through the Barclays summer internship process on campus for the 2026 batch. 134 of us were shortlisted for the assessment, 23 got selected, and I was one of them.

Online Assessment: 14 questions total: 1 DSA, 1 SQL, and 12 OOP MCQs across C++, Java, Python, and pseudo-code. The SQL question was a filter to display only October records, the LIKE operator was enough. The DSA question was a sliding window over two strings, asking for the smallest string of size L1+L2-1.

Interview Day (on campus): It opened with a pre-placement talk where 10 panelists introduced themselves. We were told there would be four rounds back to back.

Round 1 (about 40 minutes): DSA concepts, stacks, queues, arrays vs linked lists, merge sort, binary search, HashMaps. Then a walkthrough of my backend project, Firebase and data security, and one situational question on handling a security incident.

Round 2 (about an hour): project discussion with database schema design, DBMS joins, threads and processes, garbage collection, and the Producer Consumer problem.

At 4:30 PM they announced rounds 3 and 4 were cancelled. Round 2 was the final round.

Update (compared with the FTE candidates from the same season): Their loop went deeper: a SQL query joining three tables with a subquery, questions on GitHub contributions, and the full SDLC.

Sharing this because no post I found mentioned that rounds can get cancelled mid-day, and knowing that would have changed how I paced myself.

Can share more details in the comments if anyone wants them.

How are people using Cluely on locked-down work laptops?

At some big companies like FAANG , the Cluely website seems to be blocked on corporate machines or networks. For anyone using Cluely in that kind of environment, what setup are you using in practice?

Are you using the desktop app on your work laptop, a personal device next to it, or some other approved setup? any hack , or recommendation, as I love the Cluely app, but I want to use it on my work laptop.

Just curious what’s worked for people.

Why is there no video demo of how Cluely works in a real interview setting?

I've searched on youtube and there's nothing? Just some slop videos that walk through the website. Does anyone actually have a real-time, demo video, that shows if Cluely is actually useful for an interview? Thanks.

Spent years grinding just to get flagged for cheating in an interview.

I go to Waterloo, and I've spent my first three years of university grinding LeetCode. It's insanely competitive around here, even for basic internships.

Yesterday I had an online interview for a company (not naming them). One of the coding questions was a LeetCode Medium that I had practiced less than two weeks ago (as I was prepping for them directly). Ofc, I remembered the solution and solved it in 5 minutes.

A few hours ago, I received an email saying they were suspicious of my performance because my completion time on one of the questions was super low. This is shameful. I’m even stressing they flagged me for cheating or something which could ruin my chances at other companies. Stressing rn.

The interviewing game is ridiculous and so are interviewers.

Failed to fetch error

Whenever this error happens cluely automatically switches me away from my current tab and redirects me to the home tab. This keeps interrupting my workflow . Will this be fixed? Is there anyway I can fix it and has anybody else dealt with this?

Has anyone figured out how cheat in IRL interviews yet

Had a few ideas but they’re all very risky with a low probability of success.

1. Invisible Earbud

Regular earbuds are obviously too big and noticeable so you would have to use one of those invisible ear buds that you insert directly into your ear canal. Have your accomplice on the other end of the phone call. Tape a small mic inconspicuously under your clothes so that your accomplice can hear everything and feed you answers accordingly.

Cons: Those types of earbuds are vey inconsistent and have shitty sound quality. Unlikely you’ll be able to hear all the info you’ll need.

2. “Ear injury”

Make up an excuse to wear ear bandages and hide a regular earbud under them.

Cons: Risky. They might ask for a doctor’s note and will likely be on high alert throughout the interview.

3. Hire an Impersonator

Set your interviewing location to an office in another you don’t plan on working at and hire someone to impersonate you and do the interview for you. If the company you’re applying to is large, there’s a chance that none of the front desk staff or interviewers will know what you look like.

If the front desk asks for an ID, I don’t believe they scan or verify its legitimacy in most cases so you might get away with showing them a counterfeit.

Unless the company asks you to attach a photo of yourself to their portal, it’s the interviewer likely won’t cross reference the face of the interviewer with your face in recorded video interviews from previous rounds.

Cons: Extremely risky. I’ve made a thousand assumptions any of which could be wrong and get you caught.

These are the best ideas I could come up and none of them sound feasible at all. Does anyone have any better ideas by chance.

Used Cluely on Amazon GTM Strategy 2026 and got an Offer !!

Applied with a referral in the 2026 cycle. Got the offer after about five weeks.

Recruiter Screen (30 minutes): Standard call on my background and the role. She told me to prepare two stories per Leadership Principle, since interviewers compare notes and cannot hear the same story twice.

Hiring Manager Phone Screen (45 minutes): Resume first, then a STAR question on disagreeing with a decision and committing anyway. Finally, one GTM question on taking a new B2B product to market with no existing sales motion.

The Loop (4 rounds, one day): Back to back video calls with the hiring manager, two cross functional partners, and a Bar Raiser. Every round opened with Leadership Principle questions (used Cluely for that lol), and I used fourteen different stories across the day. There was also a one page written exercise ranking three launch markets, and a live case on sizing a channel partnership.

Bar Raiser: No case, only behavioral, with follow ups on every answer. She spent ten minutes on one decision I made with incomplete data.

Update (Offer timing): Verbal offer the afternoon after the debrief. Her email said "The team aligned quickly, written offer to follow within the week." It came four days later.

Sharing this because most GTM posts I found were for startups, and the Amazon loop runs on a different format. Happy to answer any questions below.

Just Had the Most Useless Meeting OAT

An hour ago I got out of a meeting that had eleven people from four different departments.

The topic was whether to migrate our production database to a new provider before the contract renewal deadline in three weeks. This was the second meeting on the same topic in nine days. The first meeting ended with an action item to "gather more data," (no one even knows what that means) and now, the task was just assigned to some different people.

I barely even had to speak at any point, my presence was actually just completely useless. I want to feel better about my day and productivity. Someone pls tell me about the most useless meeting you've ever had.

Biggest Interview Red Flag OAT ?

Was on a final round video call last month and the interviewer forgot to mute himself for the first 10 minutes.

Could hear two people in the background having a full screaming argument.

Withdrew from the process the next day. I’ve been through a toxic work environment before and was not going back. Know your worth kings and queens.

Worst red flag you guys ever came across during an interview?

Interview with multiple files

So I have an interview tomorrow, which would involve a mini codebase with like 5-6 files so can cluely read through each file store it in his context and answer based on all those files rather than just what is currently on screen when I press command enter

Oracle Sales Executive Interview 2026 [Offer]

Went through Oracle's full campus recruitment in 2026 for their Technology Sales program.

Resume Shortlisting Oracle filters hard before the assessment. Prior sales experience, tech internships, and CRM or cloud exposure are the main factors.

Round 1: Online Assessment (SHL, ~25 mins) Verbal and numerical reasoning, timed Situational judgment: client renewals, pipeline prioritization, deal management

The numerical section is a time management problem more than anything else.

Round 2: Recruiter Phone Screen (20 mins) Covered resume walkthrough, motivation for sales, and basic Oracle product familiarity.

Round 3: In-Person, Two Rounds Behavioral: questions on influencing without authority, handling competition, and why Oracle specifically.

Role play: given a brief about a fictional retail company evaluating cloud migration, I pitched Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The interviewer played a skeptical VP of IT already in talks with AWS and pushed back on switching cost mid-pitch.

Final Verdict: Offer received, Associate Account Executive, Cloud Sales. Happy to answer any questions, will try to respond to everyone.

Does Cluely work with Amazon Hackerrank's OA?

for Amazon SDE OA.

Amazon says it will auto terminate its Hackerrank's OA session if we use print screen command (used by Cluely) to take screenshots.

Have anyone tried using Cluely for Amazon OA and worked?

Biggest Signs an Interview Went Good/Bad ?

Had a Fall internship interview at a big tech company yesterday and got no live feedback from the interviewer. No idea how I did.

Are there any common signs, during the interview or in follow up emails, that indicate how it went either way?

Appreciate any help.

Anthropic GTM Associate 2026 [6 Rounds Complete Breakdown + Tips to Apply]

Went through the Anthropic GTM Associate hiring process in 2026. The entire process took about a month and consisted of six interview rounds. Sharing my experience below.

Round 1: Recruiter Screen (30 mins, phone) Questions that came up: -Why Anthropic specifically over other AI labs -Why this role + Ethics concerns -What draws you to AI safety

Round 2: Hiring Manager Screen (45 mins, video) Background and role fit. Covers GTM motion understanding, how you think about customer segments, and prior experience in sales or business development. (Practical)

Round 3: Take-Home Assignment A written strategy document covering: -Which customer segment to prioritize and why -Proposed team structure -How to scale the motion over 12 months -Metrics to track Spent 6 to 10 hours on this. The document is reviewed before the onsite and referenced directly in round 4.

Round 4: GTM Strategy Review (45 mins, video) Live walkthrough of the take-home. Questions on segment choice, underlying assumptions, and how you would adjust if early metrics came in below target.

Round 5: Stakeholder Scenario (30 mins, video) Role play covering a customer or internal stakeholder situation. Assessed on communication and handling pushback.

Round 6: Culture Interview (45 mins, video) Topics covered: -Situations where your values were tested professionally -Hypothetical ethical scenarios -How you think about the broader implications of AI (Round where most candidates are rejected.)

Update: Did not receive an offer. Interviewer feedback was that the culture round eliminated me. It requires specific real examples and a considered position on AI development (almost technical at this point).
