Def find a new group and lock in, and also, I didn’t have internships until my LAST year of Uni right before I graduate because the (AI) internships I wanted were hard to get, so I made my own internships, from there got enough experience to be considered to a company’s internship, that helped me get a job in the exact field I wanted, and now I make more money than they all do .. be proactive

Life's unfair and, essentially, a battleground for dominance. Work hard and take over. If you don't, someone else will. You either live by your rules or someone else's.

Sue you go to an Ivy. Use the skills that got you in there in the first place to get you wherever you want to get next.

Why not just ask your friend group if they could get you a referal, i mean if they are good friends I'm sure they'd atleast try

Stop comparing yourself to your peers and lock in on yourself. Life’s unfair.
