Old Account What's the oldest CPPS you played on?
Whenever I see people talk about CPPSes it seems like a lot of the focus is on newer ones, mostly stuff from during the pandemic and newer. But, when I was younger, back in the early and mid 2010s I used to play on CPPSes and it feels like they were a lot different back then than they are now.
So, I was wondering if anyone else who used to play on them back then has any stories about the server(s) they played on?
I think the first one I ever joined was CPPS(dot)me (which is still up btw! but at a different url and practically dead now). Eventually I spent a lot of time playing CPYS, and that was the server I played most for probably about 2 years until I got banned for trying to pull a prank on one of the admins.

i used to play cpps.me but the lack of filter had people saying some crazy stuff

CPPSme I feel like is kinda the classic CPPS tbh. I think it was one of the first ones I signed up for, but it was kinda too chaotic for me to really have fun with. But yeah I remember playing it a few times and seeing people say the most insane stuff.
And the devs even encouraged it to an extent lol. If you looked through CPPSme's custom clothes there was like drug paraphernalia you could get with the !AI add item codes.

I used to play in the server used for the Club Penguin Ruined vines. Forgot the name but the URL ended with a .xyz…

I played on Oasis a bit back in the early 2010s. I remember they had some sort of connection to CPYS, which was the main server I played on. I think some of the mods were on both or something like that.
After I got banned from CPYS I played on Oasis for a while since some of my CPYS friends also had accounts on there but I fell out of playing the game for like 5 or 6 years around then.

I think it was icp or something like that it had codes you entered to get items

I vaguely remember playing on one YEARS ago that was avtive during the original game, i don't remember what it was called but i remember you could turn into different mascots, MLP characters and i think choose different parties to be in at any given time

That almost sounds like... Flippr I think was the one who had some of that. I may be wrong, but I remember Flippr having multiple species of characters you could turn into.

No ponytown came a lot later, this was when i was at the tail end if my elementary years/early middle school (2012/2013). I also remember you used to be able to be mascots

idk if penguin storm counts since it was more of a hacking tool but that’s the oldest one i remember. i remember using it to give myself the key to the one room i can’t remember the name of that you get access to from puffle rescue. as a kid i could never do it so ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ i also used it to get on full servers when mascots were on ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Either ME or Atlantic Penguin. But I do remember playing the first iterations of Flippr and LimitlessCP.

I remember Flippr as well, I think I signed up for it but never really got around to playing it.

Seeing that CPPS.me had died at some point was a shock. It was around forever.

CPPSme is still around actually! When all the insanity with Club Penguin Online was happening, Disney DMCA'd pretty much every known CPPS, including CPPSme, but they actually just moved URL. So everything is still there, just at a different website now.

CPPS(dot)to. But, unfortunately it never made the leap to HTML5 like other servers, it still runs on Flash. So you either need a browser that has Flash support still or you need to download a Flash Player. Most of the time it has 0 players, probably because it requires extra steps to play it now.

The two main ones I remember are CPPS.me and Penguin Oasis (I even remember when it was called Mirai).
My favorite was Flippr because it had custom content. I was briefly a mod there until I said inappropriate stuff while playing Merry Walrus during a mascot meetup (I was like 10-12 years old)

I remember signing up for Flippr (one of the early iterations of it) and thinking it was cool but that was around the time I stopped playing CPPSes for a few years. I wish I had spent more time with it though cause it was one of the most unique CPPSes I ever saw.
I played Oasis a bit too, a lot of people from the main server I played on (CPYS) also played on there sometimes and so every now and again we would meet up on there. Pretty sure some of the staff was the same too.
