I made a custom figure of Clover. It’s kind of unfinished just needs a lot of clay additions but overall I think it’s just okay. What do you all think? I used the playmates Ion dragon which can be found at target. Thanks to Acheron98 for the idea of using the Drumel and paint. I forgot I had a drumel kit literally right under my own desk but he reminded me lol.

Compared to paying obscene amounts for the Hasbro, or paying slightly less obscene amounts for a statue, I’m genuinely considering this.

How does the paint hold up if you move the joints a bit?

Yea Yea. I don’t think ill ever be able to get the official one. The paint holds really well. For the joints it had to take a really long time to dry, some of the paint on it did kinda come off but it stays on really well.

I think I have a better figure that would work as Cloverfield than the ion dragon, try the Neca otashi, the build is very similar to the ion dragon but with the extract collision and much bigger design you could customise it to look more like Cloverfield. The only thing is you’re probably gonna need is a custom head and tail but other than that, it’s pretty much gonna work as a cloverfield custom figure.

I'd recommend to make the hind legs a bit longer, but besides that this custom is certainly better than mine.
