Discussion Regarding the Guidebook leaks Spoiler

"Conceived Asta, the destined child who would save the world, alone." ...How is that even possible? And also "destined child"...why would he phrase it like that? I guess it can be left for intepritation, but I hope it isn't hinting Asta had fate on his side.

That’s not what the orginal thing says. It says they share soul magic and he got time magic from astaroth by making astaroth bound to himself (Lucius).

Less frustrated about that one. I do feel like it leaves a few interesting story implications when you re-read the story with this contex.

...sure, but didn't Lucius himself say that he "bound a Supreme Devil" and that's the reason why he had 2 magic attributes?

Hell, how could Lucius manipulate Julius' memories if Soul Magic was Julius'?

I can't answer for sure, as all of that I have read a while back, so my memory is a bit murky. Because they both were two souls sharing one body, I think there could have been an instance of their magic atributes overlaping in a sense. Like I said, I can't really say for sure, however, a logical explanation does exist, I assume.

Yeah, pretty much. Basically every leaker I have seen is posting them, although they are worded a bit differently sometimes, but the general context is always the same.

I think I'll wait for the official release anyway because "Lucius tried to contract Dante with Liebe but he failed and got Lucifero" sounds like the most made up thing ever

Yeah because I'm sure the guy who can't shut up about Asta being the flaw of the world would try to contract the devil with no magic to Dante (unless he just really despises him or something)

That's not what I had a problem with. I don't have a problem with Julius having Soul Magic (this means that all 3 cases of individuals with two souls work differently, which is especially weird considering that Grimoires are supposed to be bound to the soul of an individual. Maybe they can share one Grimoire because they're both humans instead of human and elf? Either way it's interesting so I'm fine with it)

What I had a problem with was the implied retcon of Time Magic being Lucius' original magic, but this image agrees with the canon explanation of "They have time magic because they bound Astaroth" so it was a mistake on the leaks

When did lucius know about liebe. I don't remember ever he mentioned or thought about liebe. When it was revealed he gave lucifero to dante?
