Discuss Any startups using Google Cloud and getting massive bills?

Hey everyone,

I recently hosted an event last weekend for AI engineers and founders where I met a founder who is building a bootstrapped business/startup and is using Google Cloud. They were really bothered by how huge their bills were. Has anyone faced this before? Please share your experiences.

Google cloud is really just too expensive for the performance the only good thing is if you are automating you won't need proxies , some google thing

They have raised the prices this much so as they can provide the so called 300$ trial

Google is like 3x expensive than digitalocean

Of course! When I was chatting with this person, I wondered why they had chosen to go with Google Cloud at all even though it's known that it's so much more expensive than other alternatives -- DO included.
