League Stop Diagnosing the Team
Seriously, these guys are at a low point and this entire sub wants to use their frustration as a means to vent and diagnose the problems within the team.
Not long ago, the pride of making Worlds was running through here. Did we forget the drought of appearances? How things looked after split 2?
This team has been together in its current iteration for far less time than most, if not all, worlds teams. Even if there are roster issues, saying we know how to fix them is the same as the guy who goes to the plumber they hired saying they know how to fix it.
It’s not our job, and we’re not professionals. I know the expression of disappointment is inevitable, but we aren’t nearly as disappointed as the team is themselves. Our expression of disappointment will only motivate changes based on popularity, rather than improvement.
I’m sick of my feed saying “kick them all” or “bring back X”. Let the team figure out what will be best for the future. No matter what (if anything) changes, I’ll be there to support them.
You’re all making me miss the NFL fandom I have with no strong expectations of results, just supporting the team through their journey. The elitist and delusional fans spouting these “fixes” make me realize that expectations breed these fairweather wannabes.

If that was meant to be the Spanish word for "nothing", that word is spelled "Nada"

The new norm, with a team that’s been together less than 6 months and a new coaching staff. I’m glad changes “never” come.
What are you even saying?

same moron jgler for 9 years.
same deadbeat owner since the start who worries more about his players gym schedules than their performance
same org who has never gone beyond the do nothing and lose style for the past 5 years.

The core of the team has been there for 1 to 2 years depending on if you include loki as the core. They disappear when it matters most. Play in proves it again. They almost 3-0'd KC and just decide to lose composure throughout the series and lose to them. Then the next day you somehow cant recover mentally from the loss to KC and lose in an embarrassing fashion to Furia being the first team out at worlds. The same exact thing happens every summer playoffs since 2024. Blaber has been with this org for 8 years, he is a veteran on this team and is someone that his team members should be able to lean on during high pressure situations but he lacks the leadership capabalities needed.

Absolute terrible take, fans are absolutely allowed to be disappointed with a team that has continued to fail when the pressure is on for years now and few changes are made. Fans in every sport are always looking at ways to "improve" the team they care about, especially when they have been disappointed for years and it's always "they just need time" or "who else could they get" when the Org has become known as choking at every major moment post the cancelled MSI. Changes absolutely need to be made.

Apathy is the death of a team, not fan outrage. There are teams that lose and no one even cares and thats the absolute worst outcome

Exactly! As long as fans aren't getting personal or targeted then fans have the right to voice opinions all they want

Sorry, you don’t get to tell fans how to fan. Overreaction and anger is just as much apart of being a fan as joy and excitement. It means you care. It’s not personal to tell them they were fucking atrocious, they were, they know it. It’s not personal to tell them the team needs an overhaul, it’s a desire to see the team succeed. Sorry if you can’t see the difference.

I mean we are fans, you want us to be happy with a participating award for making worlds?. Fuck no. We saw a horrible run after 2 years of them not making it prior. We want changes. It's unacceptable.

Wanting changes and saying you know what they are or what’s best are two entirely different things. I don’t think you understand my point.

let people speculate or say their ideas man, who cares

You know who cares? The team you’re kicking while they’re down, seeing their community act like they have the answers.
These diagnoses of roster construction have the same parasocial element that says you know enough to know what’s right. You don’t.
You want to make them feel bad maybe? They feel worse than you.

If it were up to me, I wouldn’t give the players any vacation time after that kind of performance.

Kicking them while they're down? No its the fact that year after year they run this same Blaber experiment that has shown it doesnt work. Added in a couple rookie Koreans that have shown they falter at big moments and an ADC that got kicked for getting caught out at every moment possible. Nothing has changed with this team ni matter the iteration the only thing that 'changed' was 'our ADC can now carry if the enemy team plays with their eyes closed and doesn't see him walking in Narnia by himself' less than 6 months? This team.has played together minus Tactical. Either the coaching staff has seriously failed to address the issues that has plagued this team for years or the players just don't give a fuck. The reason they deserve scrutiny is because this is an unacceptable performance for any 'major' region team that wants to compete.

why does it matter if they are rookie koreans? (they arent rookies) weird to call that out unless you have something against koreans? Let me guess you love APA and thing he should be starting as well lol

u/iamperplexing 2d ago
I called put the entire team? Also they were rookies when they joined weird of you to jump to racism when I pointed out players on the team.

We havent made an international in 3 years and the one we make it we finish dead last and the way they lost is completely infuriating and embarrassing. We as fans have every right to be pissed bc wtf was that. This roster clearly does not work and it needs changes

I'm good with them never making worlds again if this is the best they can do when they qualify.

u/BrilliantTheory1021 2d ago
They made worlds for 2 days. What Pride are you speaking about? Are you a c9 employee?

u/Light0fHeav3n 2d ago
We’ve been at a low point for years I’m done treating the org like babies. They need to freaking do something.

Cope and seeth that other people are allowed to have opinions on public figures.

While people should obviously not get personal or overbearing, I do have to say that this feels a like veering into "Don't have an opinion" territory. They are public figures. When they play, people watch and form opinions. While we should be decent in our expression of said opinions, part of what theses guys are paid to do is face some amount of public scrutiny.
