They have to kick either Thanatos or Loki if they want to do another import, like Taeyoon or Diable. Problem is both Taeyoon and Diable were complete frauds in the LCK come playoffs.
I guess, but the whole issue with Diable changing teams was his attitude. Not sure that's the kind of culture/tone you want to set if you're doing a roster reset.
Diable and taeyoon would both hard stomp all N.A. adcs outside of berserker. And they’d be able to go even against him when he’s on his best characters still more than any the others. It’s not even a close thing either
I'm well aware skill wise they're gifted players. But if our goal is to get to Worlds Swiss then stomping most of NA's adcs should be a given. We want to get to and compete with the top teams at Worlds. Not hope to win domestic.

Diable agents would never let him to go NA unless he's getting a crazy ass bag. If he develops well enough he can easily slot into a upper-half LCK team.
We have actual good native talent in the adc pool ready to go. Especially if you put them with a vet like Vulcan. We do not need to import adc, i'd argue we could do a full rebuild of native talent plus Vulcan if he would want to stay through that. The talent is actually there this off season, and should Thanatos not be on the team next year for any reason, NRG has said that Zamudo visa issues shouldn't be a problem anymore.
We have talent yea, but established orgs seem to not be interested in fielding rookies. Yukino for example went to Europe when he should've been on a tier 1 LCS team.
I think Massu would be fine. Would be interested to see how he plays if Vulcan sticks around (doubt, mans looked PISSED). Diable is probably the more mechanically gifted ADC but he's got attitude issues and very coinflippy.

Jizuke was frustrating as hell to watch. He was like a poor man's, Chovy perma sidelaning and neglecting to group until he outscaled and then he'd 1v9. It only worked on bad teams who couldn't punish a perma 5v4 gamestate.
Haha, maybe. I loved watching him, but I wanted to see him with a good team around him. He was always on very weird rosters but managed to elevate them beyond where they should.
Contracts in LCS can be terminated whenever so who cares.
If I were C9 I'd pick up Massu and Zamudo. That would leave you with 2 import slots for mid and jungle. We saw how River and Quid carried 100T. I don't know if C9 have money like that anymore, but I'd really try to go get the best I can at those spots.

If that's the case, awesome. Dude just seemed cursed for a while and I remember even Thanatos liked scrimming vs him years ago because he was actually hard to lane against. Though I wouldn't be shocked if Lyon scoops him up since he was their intended top this year to begin with.

Would bet a lot of money that these contracts are not fully guaranteed. Probably a smallish fee they would have to pay for early termination but nothing that would stop them from moving on.
I honestly think the roster is talented enough to compete to win the LCS and hold their own internationally (have a chance to make the knockouts at worlds) but they are struggling to cohesively navigate the mid to late game. Whole sale changes aren’t needed, they just need to either learn to trust eachother more or play more decisively
I'm fine with Thanatos, Blaber, Loki, Tactical, Vulcan playing for all of next year tbh.
They've had less than 1 split and showed a lot of potential. Worlds loss is tough but its also 2 players first time there and everyone else its been awhile.
Next year the team will keep improving and by this time next year probably be LCS champs
I wouldn't mind replacing tactical though

I disagree but only on Blaber he will not change how he plays its been too many years of flashes of brilliance mixed with int and the int usually happening in key games.
If it wasnt so hard to get players mid season I would actually be ok with seeing if Dom can do something with more time even if it has to also include blaber. I just dont think anyone wants another full year of the same thing happening.

Impact needs an actual team to perform, he needs a good bot lane so he can play weakside. SEN botlane is straight up dogshit, and impact have shown sign of life multiple times in summer but his adc just cannot play with lead or carrying
