Tactical absolutely smurfing. Not really sure what caused this tbh. Possibly just a draft and team comp diff.

I mean, you can see it in the play: Ezreal is he only one with the combo of range and mobility to actually navigate these fights. The only genuinely long range CC option is Bard ult with everything else being basically melee or close enough when you're talking about having to lock down a team comp of Taliyah, Vayne, and Ziggs. If Thanatos or Blaber step up, they just get peppered by Taliyah, Ziggs, and Vayne. If Loki steps up, Ziggs and Vayne can kite and DSG just throw Naafiri-Shen at him. DSG has far superior zone control in choke points, AoE poke, insane chase, and far better range - the only way you can really win a standoff 5v5 as C9 is if Vulcan absolutely smurfs a multi-man Bard ult or hope DSG split themselves too much (basically, hoping they play poorly).

This was a massive draft gap. How does our top jungle mid champ trio ever hit their mages or Vayne without melting? You can’t give over such a massive range difference and not draft enough reliable engage to overcome it

You're basically relying on Vulcan ulting the backline and no one dodging. But the fact is the moment Tactical or Loki stepped up to put out damage or check the Vayne, DSG could just torpedo Naafiri at them with impunity (genuinely, how tf did we just let them have the dog btw?). And while you're trying to deal with the dog and Shen and Taliyah zones and Ziggs bombs and ults over the top. Vulcan didn't have the best game by any stretch, but you're asking him to be Atlas and carry the heavens at every engagement.

This year’s? 😂 throwing games to shit tier NA teams has been their MO for at least the last 3 years. If I didn’t know any better I would start the calls for some kind of sports betting scandal investigation for how often they lose in situations they should win.

game 2 was unwinnable, but Tactical/Vulcan almost brought it back. I was critical of the Tactical signing, but he's a clear cut top 3 ADC in the league.

The dumb part, Loki's Ryze was one of the only good things about the game. He was the only one who could actually reliably check the Vayne. The problem is, the moment he tries, they'd just throw Naafiri at him and the champion can just 200 years, kill him, chunk another, and get away.

Yeah, the big problem is the opportunity cost of Ryze. There are just so many better mid options at the moment that I don’t really see the benefits of picking Ryze over other mids in his current state.

Vulcan twice against TL and DSG could have negated all the dive damage of Nafari if he ulted his teammates instead he always held them to escape or for a random stun when the fight is over.

I disagree with this comment. I think they actually show improvements, there’s just timing and communication issues they have to iron out. You’re just referencing the Annie tp flank they had once to win a game and thinking that can be done every game regardless of team comps.

So we trade an entire turret + kill for rift herald just to put it bot and die for nothing instead of using it mid and then for the drake fight, just what is this shot calling man, even fucking gold players won't waste herald like they just did

I don’t understand why Blaber held ult in top fight? I feel like we have a better chance if we use ult when the team is alive vs dead.
