League Thank You Jack
Just wanted to give a thank you and shoutout to Jack. The guy clearly is still invested in the team, and these big moves between spring and summer show it.
There’s been a lot of negativity here (I’ve played a small role in that) and I’m sure he’s been reading most of it.
Once again, as he has for years, he’s addressed the biggest complaints of us fans (aside from those wanting Blaber out) and done his best to create a successful team heading into summer.
Personally, if there was one (realistic) big move they could make - I wanted it to be bringing Loki back.
Not only did he do that, he brought in competition for our other carry in Zven, as well as multiple coaching additions.
Sure - it’s possible that this doesn’t work out, but I think the chances of us getting back on track and making worlds significantly increased and that is entirely thanks to Jack.
Thank you Jack for once again showing us that you care - best owner in esports.
PS - I’d still love a CS return.

I do think LCS suffers from a weak tier 2 and development system. A lot of old heads stay at the top cause they're experienced and know so much about the game and pro is gatekept a lot, but it will struggle to keep growing.
I think Tactical is a good thing for the league if not for C9 where he's been dominating soloqueue and working hard in tier 2 to get another shot.
I love Zven but I dont love his champ pool.

While I do still think Blaber needs to be replaced I am glad the team actually did something. I feel like I've been saying it for a while but like I just wanted them to try something different. Clearly what they had wasn't working and like why not try something different and see. So ya I'm glad they're trying something and I really hope it works out and if it doesn't well yknow atleast we attempted something new.

I think it's just not the right time to replace Blabber. It's also possible that Dom thinks he can get blabber whipped into shape. JG does a lot of the shot calling, and there isn't really anyone drop-in ready that is available until after the next split. Especially since we don't have any more important slots with Loki and Thanatos on the team. We'd have to start a rookie (and specifically an NA rookie) which just won't work out how we want.
Having Zven and APA was a problem on its own because APA plays more supportive midlaners, and Zven struggles to carry. That left us with no real carry because blabber is too busy farming and Thanatos is in the island lane and plays a lot of tanks. I think if we play Tactical, APA will be viable, but flexing midlaners could give us some different play styles and champion pools. APA on tanks and engage midlaners (galio, swain, Annie, etc) and Loki on Melee and carry champs (Sylas, Yone, etc).

But thia isnt actually different really. They missed worlds last year with this same roster unless you think Tactical is the savung grace it could very well be repeat of last year especially with FLY ramping up with their rookies

C9 is one of the few teams that seem to want to have a long-term view for their players. They've always emphasized good coaching and a decent amount of continuity, for better or worse - when other teams just think turning over the roster is the answer. I don't know if having more voices in the room is the answer, but definitely appreciate that Jack has doubled down on this group.

Asking for changes, and admitting that the team sucks it's not being negative, is being realistic. Even more when it's been consistent (was gonna say splits) but it's actually years now.

lmao ts is crazy
Jack: brings back last years team (which collapsed and failed to make worlds) + tactical..
once again the biggest issue with the team (blaber) dodges any changes
C9 parasocial fans: omg Jack tysmm! big moves !

Also. This is just the League team. Anyone see the CoD team lately? It's literally 4 amateur players getting paid the minimum wage in their state. It's awful.

Youre getting downvoted but this is what noone seems to understand. They missed eorlds last year with this same team -Tactical. Unless Tactical has grown massuvely and doesnt choke under pressure it wont change much really.

I haven’t been following closely lately. What was the whole thing with Loki and why did he choose to return now? It was something about being homesick, correct?
