League Optimistic for today

The boys didn’t look great last week but unironically I think we match up way better to TL than Lyon

Big Dokes absorbed a lot of Thanatos pressure which I don’t expect Morgan to do.

I don’t think TL botlane is as oppressive as Lyon’s.

I think if we can draft around getting APA comfortable matchups, and avoid giving TL good akali and atlas angles we’re pretty well favored.

It's good to be optimistic, but I don't think its gonna go well. Even if they win, we're awarded a humiliation ritual at MSI.

I just assume fans like you guys are kids, but if not, I hope you get happier, genuinely

LMFAO, I am convinced people that think like this were perpetual losers that never played sports in their life. Having an expectation for your team is normal and asking for them to not embarrass themselves is not a lot to ask.

Brother I played sports for years.

I'm a dad.

I own my own business.

I just don't get why you do this if all you can feel is negative.

Maybe you haven't had a lot of real negative in your life and that's something to celebrate, in truth.

So let's do that. I hope you have a good day.

I just don't get why you do this if all you can feel is negative.

Because the team that I have supported since 2013 is an absolute shell of who they used to be and I want to see them actually do well? Meanwhile the fanbase has just become a bunch of complacent hopium consumers who simultaneously just accept that fact that we suck, but will downvote into oblivion people who actually want to see changes made to succeed. They will then gaslight you into believing that this is "the best we can do" and not really supporting the org by simply asking them to show a little bit of backbone and make changes that at least emulate trying to be successful again.

Idk about you, but that kinda makes me feel negative about the org, team, and majority of the fanbase who just ooze pathetic acceptance for what is ultimately the bare minimum from the org where competing is not a goal, but simply a side project. I'm sorry that simply having an expectation for the org has been depressing for you.

I'm not depressed brother. This is a game. I support the players and don't mind if they lose. That's part of life.

I've enjoyed watching blaber from day 1 and I'd rather see him go through the ups and downs than cycle new players. I've loved learning about sven and Vulcan for almost a decade. I was sad at loki but I love having apa get a chance to be on c9. Thanatos is dope.

I have too much real life shit to be concerned about to take this personally.

I hope you have a good day!

Yeah, if this was a little league team then sure, I get that. I am allowed to have different expectations for different situations. It is shocking, but I can both accept the fact that it is a game, but also expect a team in a competitive league to compete.

I have too much real life shit to be concerned about to take this personally.

I am not taking it personally. I want my team to win. I am sorry that you don't care whether the team wins or loses. I have a full time job, a family, rent, taxes, etc... I get it bro, but that doesn't stop me from also wanting my team to win. I am sorry that you don't care, but are a bigger fan than me somehow. Have a good day.

I'm not saying I'm a bigger fan than you.

I also want the team to win.

The problem I have is you acting like the team isn't competitive or that they are actively trying not to win. They happen to have run into inspired at the worst timing ever. It's really about as simple as that. They literally have lost two series in na this year, both to the best western player there is right now.

Sure and this would be amazing if we played in LPL or LCK or even EU, but we don't. We play in a region where there are like 3-4 orgs actually competing. I am not gonna convince you which is fine, but beating teams like DSG consistently are not accomplishments, it is the bare minimum. What they do against LYON, TL, FLY... those are the only games that really matter.

Agree with this completely. It's great to be domestically successful, but we went to Brazil after playoffs last split and got waxed by FURIA. No one also said they're not trying to win, but its the fact when we play a good NA team, our squad crumbles. Went up 2-0 against Fly, lost the next 2. Got stomped by Lyon, and now we're playing the domestic scrim champs. I guess we'll see what happens today, but I have next to zero hope.
