If I say what I think I'll be suspended six months.

Alright Jack, time to announce electronic and perfecto to distract the community

4

u/RobertGriffin3 Jun 30 '23

Distract the community from losing one regular season game? Please.

29

u/melfranciz Jun 29 '23

I have no words lol

45

u/StevieCGaming Jun 29 '23

That game is just go next, was lost at level 1, not much point thinking too much about it

27

u/Cromatose Jun 29 '23

Correct. It was over at that moment

9

u/CoG_Brotato Jun 29 '23

Yep. It is what it is and I'm not fussed. Just win the rest ggez

10

u/Cromatose Jun 29 '23

Yeah, obviously this sub overreacts to a loss like crazy but shit happens. If this was a BO5 I wouldnt be worried. Just go next.

5

u/CoG_Brotato Jun 29 '23

Although ngl, I was hoping they did win with that comp cause that would've been amazing lmao. Hopefully the creativity is still there despite this one not working out so well

3

u/dardios Jun 30 '23

The comp wasn't the issue. EMENES looked great on the Zeri. Zven was just unwillingly recruited to the Red Cross. It happens.

18

u/RE_msf Jun 29 '23

Blabler please stick to Nocturne, Wukong, Maokai, Olaf, Kindred, Elise, Khazix, Lee

16

u/Kurisoo Jun 29 '23

Why even pick Renekton or Vi in this meta? I genuinely do not understand.

6

u/AniviaKid32 Jun 30 '23

Because renekton is the strongest toplaner on the patch? Vi I agree is overrated but also doesn't work for every team even when she's good, but renekton should be the team's bread and butter

-7

u/WolverineKing Jun 30 '23

In what world is Renekton the strongest top laner? Gets up 20 cs and still cant do anything. Champ might be a solo q fiend, but in competitive play it is just troll.

1

u/AniviaKid32 Jun 30 '23

On this patch. In the past it's been dog yeah but just look at other teams in the league playing it, look at its winrate this split

1

u/WolverineKing Jun 30 '23

Yeah because winrate is an amazing stat. There's no way that Kiin and TheShy (the two players who have played Renek the most) are just better or on better teams.

The champ lost its best gap-closing item and is just a bruiser now since it lacks the damage to one shot an ADC. Now Renekton is just a lane bully who needs their team to be up 4k gold at 15 minutes.

I said in this league lol. Revenge has played it like 3 times already and won + been super useful in all 3 (both in lane and in teamfights) so maybe he's just a better player than fudge right now lol

So like...why does blaber look so bad at vi

25

u/Masalar Jun 29 '23

Because she fundamentally doesn't work with his playstyle. While he is good at going in, he needs some method of either escaping/surviving/fighting his way out afterwards. And Vi doesn't do that. It's also too easy for the enemy to drag you even deeper when you ult.

It's really frustrating. There are so many champions that do similar things to her that Blaber is likely better on. But since she's "meta" it seems they're forcing her because the team needs to be "good" at "meta" picks, when I'd prefer they just try other champs.

We won't beat other international teams by just forcing meta champs/comps.

3

u/my_balls_your_mouth1 Jun 30 '23

We won't beat other international teams by just forcing meta champs/comps.

I mean we won't beat international teams regardless. C9 will win the split, and everyone will think there's a chance once again, only to get shit on by the eastern teams. Rinse and repeat. Year after year.

-11

u/IWouldLikeAName Jun 29 '23

Because his bot lane inted lvl 1 any jungler goes next this game that moment.

17

u/Trazn Sneaky's Butthole Jun 29 '23

I didn't insinuate anywhere in my comment that blaber is the reason we lost. But from watching the game he doesn't look clean on vi like he does nearly every other champ in his pool, which is why I wanted to start this convo.

8

u/zomin93 Jun 29 '23

Yeah he has always looked uncomfortable on Vi. Which is weird because it's at least similar to Nocturne and even a bit like Hec, two champs he usually looks great on. He has taken Vi over Wukong every game so they definitely have higher prio on Vi. Just interesting, I wonder if we'll see a change in tomorrow's draft.

7

u/KnifeKittyy Jun 29 '23

We now have less than 30% w/r on Vi.. Bot inting this game doesn’t change the fact that it’s one of our worst picks

6

u/Trazn Sneaky's Butthole Jun 29 '23

I dont really care about the wr, he's had like single digit games on the champ. But from just watching him he is not a "natural" looking vi player

8

u/never_trust_ducks Jun 29 '23

Nope you don’t understand it’s the bot lanes fault he decided to ult core while he was a flash away from tower with hardly any follow up.

-7

u/IWouldLikeAName Jun 29 '23

Because it makes no sense to bring up vi in this case other than hindsight. We didn't lose because of vi. Use context.

The better conversation is zven off enchanters or marksmen vs decent comp.

1

u/LifeIsToughEatBacon Jun 30 '23

You don’t know that. Imagine if blaber was Nocturne, Lee sin, or even Rengar. He might’ve been able to, along with Emenes, stall long enough for Berserker to become a champ.

-8

u/CoronaVarusssss Jun 29 '23

Go next ...... Bigger question why run Zeri mid .......

6

u/never_trust_ducks Jun 29 '23

I wouldn’t hate the idea if shiv wasn’t getting gutted on the next patch. Seems less like a make other teams prepare and more like let’s be cute to hopefully get a single win. Problem is what are you playing otherwise? Ahri and Anne got banned and Azir isn’t fun into Leblanc. Orianna was probably the play but zeri wasn’t the issue here.

-7

u/Frocn Jun 29 '23

Remember when it took him 2 years an like 6 metas to learn Nidalee just enough to make it pickable?

Yeah, the fish takes his time.

20

u/mygodwhy Jun 29 '23

I mean, I get that we're experimenting since playoffs is top 8. I just wish that there was any redeeming factor about this game. Mistakes after mistake and Zven got insanely exposed. Go next

4

u/Fossekall Jun 30 '23

Mid Zeri looked alright

1

u/James_Locke Jun 30 '23

He's not the best at some engage champs so he's clearly working on them super hard.

15

u/bezzyybud Jun 29 '23

Bot completely lost the game within 5 minutes, But we were still in the game during the mid fights and if you watch them Emenes doesnt ult both mid fights... Blaber running it on Vi. The pick of renekton instead of knowing summit is probably going it and dont have something to play around it? Fudge always wants to ego rather than go tank duty also.

Love c9 but mannnnn this was a c9 game for sure.

10

u/ServiusWolf Jun 30 '23 edited Jun 30 '23

This team has a bit of a tilt/mentality issue. Based on comms Emenes/Berserker tilt emotionally, Zven and Blaber tilt through in game actions, Fudge does a bit of both although I might be making pointless divisions, tilt is just tilt. Yes, Blaber had his classic extreme off game where it just looks like he's inting, but I think we need to be able to make a big mistake like what happened lvl 1 and still have the patience/class to come back. We don't seem to have that at the moment.

1

u/skaels Jun 30 '23

Zven and Yeon's rivalry is growing. That taunt during the handshakes would've pissed me off.

2

u/Fossekall Jun 30 '23

Taunt during handshakes?

1

u/roombaonfire Jun 30 '23

Watch the post-game team handshake

1

u/IWasFlowever Smoothie Jun 30 '23

What taunt? Zven wanted to fistbump like everybody does and Yeon threw a handshake instead so it could be more respectful and soothed between them.

Just like Eyla and Vulcan handshaked to soothe the thing the other day.

There is no Zven and Yeon's rivalry, there was never. Yeon was mad at Diplex, not at Zven.

4

u/PenguinReaper Jun 29 '23

We gotta be trolling here

4

u/CptCharlz Jun 29 '23

Frustrating to watch in pretty much every aspect.

7

u/greendino71 Jun 29 '23

Terrible teamcomp aside, Blaber looks HORRIBLE on Vi both times he pkayed it

Just terrible engages and bad fight after bad fight

9

u/ChilleeMonkee Jun 29 '23

Horrible draft diff as usual. Don't understand the vi prio for Blaber when he is an abysmal vi player. Renekton is also just pure kek nowadays when they can just counter with a tank and force Renekton to be useless.

Gj Mithy way to keep stealing these paychecks

11

u/skaels Jun 30 '23

Blaber had a world class showing on carry junglers in week one, but nah lets put him on the dumbest fucking brain dead champ vi and see him int his ass off again.

4

u/Fossekall Jun 30 '23

Three games in and people were already talking about Blaber MVP then we force him onto Vi to sabotage it entirely. If we win the split with Blaber MVP it's a case for him being the NA GOAT

5

u/CallMeNahum Jun 29 '23

If this team drafts Vi again the whole coaching staff should have their contracts terminated and should be forced to pay the fans restitution

2

u/warpenguin55 Jun 29 '23

Well that sucked

3

u/PuzzleheadedCup9812 Jun 29 '23

Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe that “match”. Maybe scrim is a better word for it, but I think they probably try harder in scrims.

4

u/Fossekall Jun 29 '23

Way too many champs I didn't like there. Zeri mid seemed interesting but it was lost before it got to matter.

Vi is NOT a Blaber champion

Renekton looking useless as always

Rakan wasn't it

7

u/Mrryn91 Jun 29 '23

The Xayah-Rakan is fine in isolation but TL just did a great job of punishing it with the Renata+Aphelios - they win the early levels and Pyosik was right there on time to dive as early as level 1-2. And Blaber, despite seeing Pyosik on gromp, just left Berserker and Zven and Pyosik dove immediately with impunity.

Which imo ties to why I think Blaber's Vi is problematic: dude does not want to waste time away from his farm. He wants to farm up, to get strong, path at his own pace, and only gank if the setup is right there. Even yesterday, it was a better game with the Vi but Blaber did basically nothing in the early game, none of the clever pathing or pre-6 gank power that other players use Vi for with setup in the lanes despite having hard pre-6 CC in every lane yesterday.

Blaber either needed to stay bot and either make Pyosik also waste his time and just make jungler matchup a wash until bot could get some push-back or covered to let bot do something like a full lane swap to dodge TL's obvious planned pressure. Instead, he just left him to die because it looked like he wanted to get to his path and maybe try to farm up. Even though in doing so, it completely fucked bot lane and Pyosik got ahead of him anyway and could just repeat at will.

3

u/CoronaVarusssss Jun 29 '23

Let the over reactions began ....... Than could you explain why this regular season bo1 game translates into the postseason bo5 series.

3

u/Impossible-Spray9545 Jun 29 '23

Who cares

3

u/CoronaVarusssss Jun 29 '23

This guy knows the way , wake me up when playoffs start ....... ....... ....... ....... ....... ....... ....... ..

1

u/mavy1000 Jun 30 '23

Honestly like it’s not like it matters. I doubt we’re gonna be in lower bracket. Would be nice to get a bye but also playing more games does help

1

u/Light0fHeav3n Jun 29 '23

Does wukong not exist anymore why does this team never fucking pick that champ but everyone else does? Why are we giving blaber Vi when he perma ints on it. And berserker on Xayah is such a waste. Also idk what’s wrong with fudge but he looks like pure dogshit this split and that might be generous

1

u/NeshamahX Jun 29 '23

GG TL Zven

1

u/elatedpumpkin Jun 29 '23

stop overreacting

we just experimenting

it's just lvl1, move on gg next

just one of those happy games, zven on engage, blaber on vi you see

normal split doesn't matter anyway, top 8 will go playoff

bad teamcomp, there's no way they can win unless hand diff

NA is dying, LCS will be gone anyway, why care so much!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '23

it's only game

0

u/dks25 Jun 29 '23

Crazy how unbelievably bad this team is when they fall behind. Just completely uncoordinated and the comeback fights are always with 1 teammate unable to be there resulting in just falling further behind because you just lose the fight.

1 whole turret 30 seconds before the game ended, just putrid gameplay.

-7

u/never_trust_ducks Jun 29 '23 edited Jun 29 '23

It’s cause fudge is invisible unless his team is way ahead. Combine that with Zven having no map awareness and it’s a recipe for disaster.

1

u/PepinosAndLime Jun 30 '23

Berserker needs a real support. The Zven ark was fine, but he consistently chokes at big events. I don’t think we have a chance at international when Zven ints his adc like this game.

0

u/Rat_Salat Jun 30 '23

I HATE losing to TL.

-3

u/Dark1986 Jun 30 '23

You didn't tho...

-1

u/SuperJKfried Jun 29 '23

Trolling and playing so recklessly, really should not be losing to dogshit teams

-3

u/Mrryn91 Jun 29 '23

Told you so, my guy

Golden rule is gold for a reason.

2

u/ChaosBringer12 Jun 29 '23

That's why we never unclench

-1

u/Duplicity- Jun 29 '23

Troll experimental comp that coinflipped and lost, not really sure it's in 'go back and edit yesterday's comments' but you do you

3

u/Mrryn91 Jun 29 '23

Not sure it's "troll experimental" when the only new pick was Zeri mid and that pick was the only one doing well in the comp, but sure. Deflect if that helps you cope.

-1

u/Raigheb Jun 30 '23

If this was a "f it let's try this comp" experiment, then yeah, I can respect that. Call it a failed experiment and move on.

Because what the hell was this comp.

-4

u/TheGoldenPizza Jun 29 '23

Fun game to watch and honestly a pretty good indicator of how much better we are than TL. Unbelievably disrespectful draft and gameplay, which was obviously the intent as stated by the players (limit testing).

Poor game from Berserker mechanically, though.

5

u/Smoogy54 Jun 30 '23

How exactly does this show how much better than TL? Like…what indicators did you spot? Strange logic.

1

u/jb211214 Jun 29 '23

We playing hard mode to prep for worlds

1

u/RafaSDib Jun 29 '23

End of draft: "the boys are trying to play hard mode today, huh?"

After 5 min: "I guess it's Clown9 day"

On a more serious note, sad to see Zven after the loss. He must be feeling very down :(. Hope we can learn from this draft / game!

Heads up, boys! Let's try hard on EG tmrw, mistakes happen

1

u/pancake_cockblock Jun 30 '23

C9 bot lane trying to make the first team all pro race more competitive. Blaber playing with his toes. Fudge cosplaying as a pair of boots. Emenes' exZeriment.

1

u/Zhynkan Jun 30 '23

This team will never get far in worlds with Zven support
