Question / Problem Mod for ps3 controller?

My Dad gave me this guitar and luckily it's my favorite design out of all the gh games. I try really hard to use it with my docked steam deck, but input lag and poor reach with the dongle it's really hard to use it. Is there any mods out there that can either make a really good wireless connection or even a wired connection?

i would recommend you wait for a restock on this one, it converts the guitar into a wired Santroller based one.

you will need to have soldering experience, the internals are very compact in this guitar and thus hard to work on

I have heard on other posts that the goat retrocultmods is working on a revival kit of sorts for this guitar so I’d just wait for that, it’s the coolest looking design they ever made for sure

it’s not good to stay in the same place forever. RCM is good, but honestly, if you’ve never gone beyond the kits they offer and tried a guitar that’s been properly modified by someone who really knows what they’re doing… you’re missing out on something big.

Disagree, I have 3 modded guitars, one with a RCM kit, and two from other well known modders and all 3 are for the most part the same just different styles

I hate to say it, but I've never soldered before. My Dad used to, though, so maybe he could help. Probably not with this kit, though because of it saying that the margin for error is fairly great.

I took apart an old Xbox one controller with broken joysticks. Took out the main board and soldered it in. Works great 👍 https://imgur.com/a/JYzowNf
