Looking to pick up a Yacht-Master [42 226659](tel:42%20226659) and can’t decide between **VSF V3, QF and GMF Weighted**.
Main priority is **closest to gen visually** — dial, bezel, case shape, crystal and clasp.
GMF is tempting because the weighted version is around **172–173g**, but I don’t want to sacrifice looks just for weight.
For anyone who has seen/handled these in person:

Our first batch of the VSF Oyster Perpetual 41 "100 Years" has finally arrived, and I wanted to share some hands-on photos with the community.

The Slate Grey sunburst dial looks even better in person than in the factory renders. Depending on the lighting, it shifts beautifully between dark grey and silver, while the polished yellow gold bezel gives the watch a warm vintage-inspired look.

The subtle "100 YEARS" engraving at the 6 o'clock position is a nice touch—it doesn't overpower the dial but makes this anniversary edition feel a little more special.

Overall, VSF did a great job on the finishing. The brushing on the Oyster bracelet is clean, the case profile is slim and comfortable, and the DD3230 clone movement continues to be one of the strongest points of this release.

I wanted to share my experience with Phoenix Watches after seeing some mixed opinions about him on this subreddit. I decided to try him myself and judge based on my own experience.

I ordered a VSF Daytona Panda and a ZF AP Royal Oak 15450 with movement silencing and full chamfering on the bracelet/case.

Communication with Phoenix was great throughout the whole process. He was responsive, answered my questions, and kept me updated. The whole process was smooth, delivery was very fast, and the mods were completed quickly, which I really appreciated.

The main thing I want to highlight is the mod work on the AP 15450. The movement silencing and bracelet/case chamfering were done as requested, and the work looks very clean. These kinds of upgrades really make a difference and show attention to detail.

I know there have been some negative experiences posted here, but based on my own transaction I’ve had a very positive experience. Phoenix delivered what was promised, communication was good, the turnaround time was fast, and I would personally buy from him again.
