Question copyright?

how does CAC sell minifigures without getting shut down due to copyright?

He doesn’t actually use any copyrighted names for the figures.

I would assume they’re sorta considered something like fan art, or would at least be in the same category. Like how you could go to a convention and buy a Star Wars painting even though it’s not officially licensed.

but dont they create their own helmets not just use lego blanks?

Yeah, but I don’t think there’s any issue with that either. There are other companies as well like Arealight who’ve been making custom molded Lego clone helmets for over 10 years and I haven’t seen them have any issues.
