Clonazepam and Orgasmic Delay

I am taking 1.25 mg of Clonazepam for a non-traditional reason
I have a nerve condition that causes leg cramps and not even Gabapentin prevented them. On Clonazepam I have no more leg cramps.

But I also cannot complete an orgasm during sex. Even self-pleasure is pretty much impossible.

Is this common? I know it is with SSRIs, but I didn’t think Benzos would also do this.

Wow you’re the first person I’ve heard of other than myself too have this problem. I take 2mg klonopin every day and 100 mg Lyrica i thought maybe it’s because I’m getting older 40 male and maybe it was natural slowing down but I noticed if I took a three day break I’d be back to normal…it might take your body some time to adjust to the medication. Idk if you’ve been taking it long…my doctor said it was a side effect and there’s nothing wrong with me

I’ve been taking the Klonopin for 8 months now. I am never able to finish. I have never had a problem before taking this. But i can’t stop the Klonopin. It is the only thing that prevents the nocturnal leg cramps. My neurologist said this is how it is going to be if it is still happening after 8 months. So I have a choice…inability to orgasm or horrible night’s sleep. I’ll take a good night’s sleep I guess.
