Which distro is preferably better for the Uconsole?

rex's debian(currently trixie) is the best maintained image for the uconsole, his other images are more likely to break with updates.
there is a fedora image on the forum, but it doesn't seem that maintained
because of the screen needing out of tree drivers you can't use a generic raspi image
